## What is Drop A Posty?

Drop A Posty is a nicer way to turn boring things into bright, personalised Postys. Send one to your best friend for carrying the group chat. Send one to someone having a rough week. Send one just because. Digital Postys are free and always will be.

MAKE A POSTY IN SECONDS

Pick a message and an image from our library, then make it yours with colours, stamps, stickers, sounds and music.

Send your Posty directly to a friend's Posty Office or share it as a link that opens in a browser on any device.

EVERYTHING LIVES IN YOUR POSTY OFFICE

Add friends using their Posty code or scan the QR code to send Postys directly to their Posty Office. All Postys you send and receive live within the Posty Office.

HANG OUT ON IYKYK

This is where things get more interesting. Our community wall for stories, relatable moments and shout-outs.

Post something relatable. Start a conversation. Reply to somebody else's post. Drop a completely unnecessary observation into the world. If you know, you know.

ROOMS ARE FOR YOUR PEOPLE

Make a Room for your friend group, class, club or whoever else belongs in there.

Send each other Postys, start Polls, answer questions about each other and post on your Room's own IYKYK wall.

GO AROUND THE WORLD WITH ATLAS

Being nice always pays out (quite literally here!) Postys you send earn coins that you can spend to unlock new places on your Atlas and collect digital stamps from around the world.

SOME POSTYS DESERVE TO BE REAL

Some Postys are too good to stay digital. Buy an IRL Posty pack, design a real postcard using your own photo or ours, add your message, and we'll print it, apply postage and mail it. IRL Postys can currently be sent to 45+ countries.

BUILT FOR 13+

Drop A Posty is built specifically for 13+. So everything here is designed around the stuff you actually want to do with your friends. You don't need to be on camera. You don't even need anything particularly important to say.

It's your corner of the internet. Have fun with it!

Happy Posty-ing!

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 2.0 — 2026-09-27

Rooms are bigger and better. Users can create up to 10 Rooms and join up to 10 more. Each Room has its own IYKYK Wall, Polls and Room Postys, available only for the members within.

Community IYKYK Wall now has Corners. Think of them as mini communities within IYKYK, where users can discover posts around different interests. In addition to text replies, users can now reply to posts with stickers, emojis and sound effects.

After signing up, users can choose or change their avatar anytime from Settings. Avatars can only be selected from a pre-set library.
