## What is DROP Connect?

At DROP, we make a complete line of water treatment and management products that improves your water quality, monitors your water usage and notifies you of potential problems, and can even automatically shut off the water supply if a leak is detected. Using DROP Connect, you can configure and monitor your DROP water management system -- even when you are away from home.

With DROP Connect you can:
- Receive notifications for anomalous water usage or problems with your DROP system.
- Conveniently view the valve and system status.
- Easily change valve and system settings.
- View current water flow and water usage information for the past three months.
- View a history of events.
- Start and monitor a regeneration or backwash cycle from your phone or tablet.
- Add or remove devices (such as valves or leak detectors) on your DROP network.
- Configure your DROP water management system so you can access it when you are away from home.

Good service. After 2.5 years we still have over 25% filter life. Did have one issue with automatic valve over Wi-Fi. The tab broke on our valve control motor. Called company but they never came to fix it I guess it will be fixed at our next filter change. Still the system has been working well. Like water quality.

### 3/5 — Salt level warnings

I keep getting low salt level warnings even after the salt is replenished fully. Unsure if this is a problem on the salt sensor at my end or is it a problem with the hub itself.

**Developer response:** We are sorry that you are having trouble.  The salt sensor paddle must be down, tight against the 4" brine well tube, to indicate salt OK.  You can view the paddle's state at any time from the app by going to "Devices" in the left menu and choosing "Salt Sensor".  Best practice, when refilling the brine tank with salt is to remove the tension band temporarily from the top of the sensor so the paddle is down, then add salt to the tank.  Finally, put the tension band back on.  If the paddle is definitely down tight against the brine well, and there is no salt blocking it from being down, then please contact us directly at feedback@dropconnect.com or call us M-F during normal business hours (EST) at (888) 363-9434.  We will be glad to help you get your salt sensor working or replace it.

Latest update softener reporting crashes all other devices report and can be adjusted but app crashes when I select softener please FIX it I paid a lot for this system and can not operate it remotely

Once they are finished, try selecting the softener device again.

The app will crash when you select “Device”. I’m unable to select the Softener device.

I travel a lot and feel much better about not being home knowing that DROP is always watching for water leaks and let’s me know when something needs to be addressed.  I have a DROP water softener, carbon filter, and around 12 leak detectors throughout my house.
