### 4/5 — Great app. Missing a key feature

*2013-08-27, version 1.2.2*

This is a great app. I love it and use it every single day. One feature, though, that I wish it had is number recognition. So that when I enter a phone number in a list item it is a clickable link that would, if I'm using my iPhone, allow me to dial directly. You see, I use Dropkick as my call list. The same is true of email address recognition. That would be terrific.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2013-05-08, version 1.2.2*

This is a great app that I use daily. It would be perfect for me if it would group the items in each list together when in the all tasks view. Please add that!

### 4/5 — Awesome app!

*2013-01-27, version 1.2.2*

I use this app on a daily basis. One feature I would love to see in the next upgrade is options of organizing your tasks in each list. I would like my grocery list in alphabetical order.

### 4/5 — Great App, missing a few simple options

*2012-10-14, version 1.2.2*

I really like that this app is very user friendly and syncs between my different Macs and iPhone. The price is also very reasonable!

Would be nice if it had font choices and color coding options for the different lists. Deadline dates would be great, too.

### 4/5 — Uncomplicated but does exactly what want (Almost)

*2012-07-17*

Why are there no badges in the Desktop version to mimic the iPhone version?

Love the simplicity, no unnecessary features, however desktop badges are a must. After all there are no alarms or notifications. I also think some form of due date would improve your app.

That said don't ever overload with complicated features, it is what sets you apart from the competition. that and the fact that I can input across all devices and sync seamlessly.

Support also afforded me the courtesy of a reply re: some issues I raised.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2012-04-10, version 1.1.4*

All it needs is due dates and a notes section. Sync is flawless and interface is great.

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2011-12-29, version 1.1.3*

Simple and easy to use! Reliable!!

### 5/5 — The BEST todo list app.

*2011-12-22, version 1.1.3*

INCREDIBLE

Finally a super simple to do-list app that gets rid of all the unnecessary crap that other similar apps have. This lets me focus on what I actually have to do. The wirelessly syncing desktop client is incredible as well. Overall, this app reminds me of a todo list version of Simplenote.

I give this five stars.

The developers are super nice and always updating this!

The only feature I can even think to add is a 'date added' section - so I can see how long things have been on the list.

### 4/5 — Two Things

*2011-12-21, version 1.1.3*

Needs a simple "notes" option (no checklist) and a basic calendar to remind and it's a great app - check out NotesPark for notes - as simple, put that and that together and it's a simple stick of productivity dynamite

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2011-11-10*

Does exactly what you need and nothing else. Zero distractions.

But the best feature is its small file size of only 673KB, which means it launches almost instantly and with a very small memory footprint it remains resident for much longer.

### 5/5 — Easy and very effective

*2011-11-03, version 1.1.2*

I simply love this app. I have tried different list apps but this is by far the easiest. First, it syncs seamlessly between my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro and iMac. It has helped me organize like no other. Amazingly, it is free (I don’t recall but there may be a small charge for the computer version-but it is SOOO worth it). The only thing I hope they can add is a “delete all” button when editing as now items are deleted one by one.

### 4/5 — good

*2011-10-02, version 1.1.2*

this one is the quickest to add information to of all the 'to-do' apps i've tried. load time is non-existant. open app > write stuff > close app = 10 sec. thereby earning it's rightful seat on my docked apps shelf. it's not feature rich, but ease of use more than makes up for this based on what i use it for.

### 5/5 — Love is app

*2011-09-03, version 1.1.2*

I really love this app and it's flawless ability to sinc from iPhone to iPad. Just what I was looking for. The ability to set due date and reminder would be great.

### 5/5 — Great App.

*2011-08-18, version 1.1.2*

Nice to have an app that is not over complicated and that syncs with all three Apple devices !!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This no longer works in iOS11!

*2017-10-04, version 1.3.2*

Since upgrading to iOS 11, this app no longer works and I have totally lost access to all my data! Surely the developer had enough notice of iOS11 to have a new version!?

### 1/5 — Restore Previous purchase?

*2011-11-12, version 1.1.2*

I bought this app (the full version) and I'm sick and tired of it telling me to purchase it again. It prompts me to "restore previous purchase" I do an then I get prompted to purchase the app again a little while later.

### 2/5 — Listacular is a much better alternative.

*2013-10-12*

No longer a good choice. Though a favorite of mine at one time, this app has grown stale in both design and function.

I now use Listacular instead, as well as Clear, Vesper, and Paperless for notes.

### 2/5 — Won

*2011-05-30, version 1.1.1*

I have this loaded on my iPad and am disappointed that the app only works in vertical mode. Rotate the screen and you'll have to tilt your head to read.

### 3/5 — Great, but....

*2018-01-31, version 1.3.2*

The best to do list app I’ve found but the server is often down so syncing between devices is very difficult.

### 3/5 — Best so far

*2012-06-07, version 1.1.4*

Use this app everyday. Syncs fast. The Mac version sometimes has to be checked twice before it updates.

NEEDS PUSH! Would love to send or receive an alert automatically when an item has deleted, changed or has been added to a list so all users get updated.

Give this app a try!! I've downloaded soooooooo many and this one is as close as it comes so far. But I'm still looking. I would love to STOP!

Thanks for the hard work.

### 3/5 — Need drag & drop on phone like online version

*2012-04-26, version 1.1.4*

Maybe a star feature as well. Would like to be able to date tasks to show up on certain dates. I would like more style to it, Not bad so far for a simple app. Thank you.

### 3/5 — Solid App but iOS 5 will bury it...

*2011-06-19*

Great app that does exactly what it says with ease and simplicity. Needs some serious updates and feature additions however or come iOS 5 this will be a total rip off. It needs things like a nicer UI, alarm, date and location function or Apples Reminders is going to bury this app. With a price tag of around $10 to get it working on all the mac and iOS devices when a nicer, more feature rich app is coming from Apple in just a few months, the dev better keep up. Maybe if the app was universal the cost would be forgivable. I like this app and have high hopes, but in it's current state I can't recommend it with Reminders so close to release. Save your money and see if the dev puts the effort in to justify the cost.

### 3/5 — Dropkick is simple-needs multiple list capability.

*2010-12-11, version 1.0*

Dropkick syncs tasks between computer and iOS device quickly. It would be great if the app could do multiple labelled lists. The developer seems responsive to issues with the app and seems willing to consider improvements to the app. The app syncing is important as I found out when I had to do a reintall with another Task program and lost all items that had gone into many lists, even though I synced with my Mac immediately before the reinstall.

The app would get an even higher rating when it can do multiple separate lists.

### 3/5 — Yes, but...

*2010-12-04, version 0*

It's simple, and that's good, truly. But this doesn't even have sublists or even date entry with alarms or notifications (which is standard by now, and should have been included in this first version).

Hopefully, the developer will quickly build Dropkick to be more competitive in the near future.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best list manager...And I have tried them all.

*2017-11-19, version 1.3.2*

I couldn’t live without this app. I have it on my iPad, my laptop, my phone. Best to delete the app and reinstall when ios Is updated. Updates don’t always seem to work...but a clean install does.

### 5/5 — Great little task manager

*2017-09-25, version 1.3.2*

Thanks to the developer for updating this to 64 bit!

I have this for both the desktop and iPad and they sync flawlessly.

My request would be a rolling sequence option (once every week, once every month, on the 15th of each month etc.)

Great app.

### 5/5 — Best task manager

*2015-11-03, version 1.3.1*

Easy and quick to use.
- I really like how easy it is to reorganize tasks.
- Not needing an Internet connection is a bonus.
- I do wish there was a way to backup my tasks to the cloud.

### 5/5 — Perfectly simple and effective

*2015-09-10, version 1.3.1*

Dropkick is my #1 productivity tool. A list of lists, in the order I need them, without any clutter. And it syncs!

### 5/5 — Exactly What I Wanted In a To-Do List

*2014-03-26, version 1.2.3*

I thought I would never find an app that met my wishes, it seems I'm too picky for my own good with it comes to apps. My requirements were very simple: a to-do list app that would let me make multiple lists, remember what I've completed, without any bells and whistles like reminders and alerts. Just something I could keep a running list of things I wished to accomplish in a certain area.

Sure, I could have ignored the added features in other apps, but I didn't want to. This app has been meeting my needs for 6 months now, it was the first app that I paid for and I'm glad I took a chance on it. It does exactly what I want it to, nothing more, nothing less.

If I have any complaint at all, it is that the companion computer app is Mac only, so I can't take advantage of the syncing, but really - I don't need it. If my phone dies, it's backed up to iCloud for easy restoring. I don't need to access my to-do list on my computer because my phone is always right next to me anyway!

### 5/5 — Simple with no distractions, and very effective

*2013-09-17*

It does exactly what it claims with great effect. Easy and quick to manage with no confusing options. Syncing is fast across iPad, iPhone and laptop. Can even print a list if needed from the laptop app.

### 5/5 — Great List - One Suggestion

*2013-07-06, version 1.2.2*

My wife and I use this list a lot for various purposes. It's great. One suggestion - I'd like to have a feature that would allow alphabetizing entries. It would be helpful, particularly for grocery lists. If my completed items could be alphabetized, I could then go into it to move items into the incomplete list when needed again. I'd even be willing to pay for the app.

### 5/5 — Absolutely wonderful simple to do list

*2012-09-20, version 1.2.2*

I have tried so many different to do list and this one by far is the best! Also great support. Send an email and get a reply by the next day.

### 5/5 — Simple, practical, cloud-based sync

*2012-08-08, version 1.2.1*

Finally, a task manager that isn't all junked up with superfluous bells and whistles. Some of these apps are simply out of control, this one is not. I don't need to know that a task is overdue or take a photo of notes scribbled on a napkin imbedded with a voice memo and GPS coordinates! Get real. This app fits what I need- a straightforward list of things I need to get done. And have multiple lists. And have it sync immediately to the cloud.

Bonus: the "completed" list serves as a great historical record of sales quotes I've sent out. Goodbye loose leaf tablets and lost follow-ups. And by using the cloud, I'm not worried about losing backups.

Thanks Dropkick!

### 5/5 — Simple but amazing

*2012-03-20, version 1.1.4*

Use it for my shopping and errands lists on phone ipad and desktop and it never fails Lightening fast sync on numerous and often long lists. Not as flash as some other task/ list apps but it's the one that has outlasted them all. Highly recommended.
