## What is Droplark?

You finished the song. Now comes the part nobody teaches: the rollout.
Droplark turns one decision - your drop date - into a complete release campaign.
Tell it what you're releasing (single, EP, or album), how many weeks of runway
you have, and how heavy you want the plan. It generates the whole timeline
backward from the drop: lock the master, finish the art, upload to your
distributor on time, announce, tease, push, run drop day like a pro, and keep
the song alive through the month after - the stretch most artists go silent.
THE PLAN
• A day-by-day rollout across five phases: Foundation, Tease, Push, Drop Week, Momentum
• Every task explains why it matters and exactly how to do it
• Runways from 2 to 12 weeks - short runway? Droplark compresses into an honest crunch plan and flags what's urgent
• Single, EP, and album plans, with waterfall-strategy tasks for multi-track projects
• Toggles for pre-save links, music videos, vinyl & merch, and first-ever releases
• Reschedule the date anytime - your completed work carries over
• Add your own tasks alongside the generated ones
• Run several releases at once, each with its own accent color
TODAY
• One screen of marching orders: what's overdue, what's due, what's coming this week
• A 14-day completion chart to keep your streak honest
• A daily content spark so you never stare at a blank caption
200 CONTENT PROMPTS
• Announce, tease, behind-the-scenes, countdown, drop-day, momentum, community, and evergreen ideas
• Filter by format and effort, save favorites, copy with a long-press
• Written for musicians - every prompt is about your song, your story, your scene
THE PLAYBOOK
• 12 guides: the 6-Week Standard, the Waterfall Strategy, pre-saves explained honestly, the drop-day run sheet, pitching windows, metadata without tears, the crunch plan, and more
• A 48-term glossary that finally explains what everyone else pretends to know
YOURS, FOREVER
• Pay once. No subscription, no account, no ads, no tracking
• 100% offline - your plans and your music stay on your device
• Works alongside whichever platforms and distributors you already use, and names none of them
Built for independent artists who'd rather spend release week making moments
than making spreadsheets. Lock the date. Droplark handles the calendar.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-08-01

Improved readability throughout release plans, checklists, timelines, and campaign notes. Accessibility support and privacy disclosures are now more complete.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-06-24

This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge, so every screen reads as a clean column. iPhone is unchanged; still fully on-device.

### 2.0 — 2026-06-21

Droplark 2.0 — a pro upgrade for planning your release, still 100% offline.

• Timeline: a Gantt-style view of your whole rollout, phase by phase, with the drop day marked.
• Asset & Metadata readiness: a gated checklist across audio, artwork, metadata, and rights, with a readiness score.
• Budget planner: set a total and get a suggested split across production, visuals, promotion, and reserve.
• Shot list: plan your content shoots grouped by setup, with capture progress.
• Team & Wins: line up your release-week allies and log your wins afterward.
• PDF plan export, plus a richer text export.

No account, no network — your whole rollout stays on your device.

### 1.2 — 2026-06-20

Droplark 1.2 - What's New

Share your plan. Every release now has a "Share plan" option in the ··· menu. Droplark generates a clean plain-text summary of your complete rollout - every phase, every task with its scheduled date and status, progress totals, and urgent flags - and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Send it to your manager, producer, or bandmate via Messages, Mail, or any app. Fully offline.

One-tap copy in Prompts. Every prompt in the library now shows a visible copy button next to the favorite heart. Tap once to copy; the icon confirms with a checkmark. No need to hunt for the long-press menu.

Version number in Settings now reflects the real installed version rather than a fixed label.

### 1.1 — 2026-06-18

Release Reminders: each release now has an opt-in reminders toggle and a preferred reminder time, and Droplark schedules on-device local notifications for upcoming planned tasks on their due dates (plus a drop-morning alert) — fully offline, no account or push. Marking a task done cancels its reminder; rescheduling re-derives the whole set; foregrounding tops up a rolling 60-task window under iOS's 64-notification cap. Also fixed: completed Today tasks no longer linger (and the 'clear for today' state now appears), edited-down releases no longer inflate completion stats or the 14-day chart, a
