I’ve tried to reach out for someone to assist but no reply. Subscribe only if you don’t expect to contact the developer or require any support. No resolution and reply to repeated requests for log in help during the second year of annual subscription. There is invitations for new subscription even when 10 months are remaining. How to proceed? ### 2/5 — Cheated me on the trial period! *2026-01-20* I signed into Dr Oracle for a 6 day free trial and initiated a 3 month autopay to be activated after the trial period. Almost immediately I get a message saying that my trial period end within 24 hours, even before I started using the application. ### 4/5 — Great adjunct *2025-11-22, version 2.0.3* The app is a great quick reference guide that answer specific questions related to medical concerns. It’s faster than paging through paragraphs when you just need a quick confirmation of information. I appreciate the referencing of data, however, I must admit that I haven’t personally vetted the data sources. The desktop version can sometimes get glitchy and asking follow up questions or stating a new topic doesn’t work. I in fact did not sign up for a free trial, but was an early member that paid $10/month for the Dr Oracle service for a year. Perhaps the “surprise” being eluded to is that I was being billed 6 months after cancelling my membership. I have no existing membership with Dr Oracle through Apple, for the past 6 months to be exact. I was in fact being billed without my consent. To the commenter’s point, for points of contact, the “contact us” is behind a paywall on the website and app and the prior contact I had is now “undeliverable.” So… super helpful whoever staff decided to try and gaslight and steal money. My bank is resolving it now. Original: Yesterday Dr oracle was free, now it’s $25 per month. A year ago Dr oracle was useful, now it’s very limited and refreshes itself within a few minutes of asking a question. Not helpful. Update: After cancelling months ago, Dr Oracle is still charging me monthly fees. On top of that, there is no way to contact the company, and no way to access your account without signing up for $25/mo subscription service. **Developer response:** Dr.Oracle has a free trial which is explicitly explained at signup. Dr.Oracle has never been free, I'm genuinely interested to understand why you are claiming this? You seem to be surprised that your free trial ended. We cannot charge you without your consent. We are sorry you seem to have forgot to cancel your membership. We refund all our customers upon request per our policy, no questions asked. All you have to do is email us. Our contact form is NOT behind a paywall, despite what you believe. The main gripe is copying an answer with sources easily (mac app haven't tried on mob), which makes it my second go to med app. If this was changed, I would def find myself using it more. This makes it virtually impossible to reach out if any issues arise. • Login Issues: After registering online, I found myself unable to log back into the website. Each attempt to reset my password resulted in generic error messages, never offering a real solution. • Unresolved Charges: Despite my inability to access the service, Dr. Oracle continued to charge my account a monthly fee, without delivering any service or offering a way to cancel or get help. • No Communication Options: I searched thoroughly but couldn’t find any way to contact their support. Without even a basic email contact, users are left without recourse if things go wrong. Overall, I am very disappointed. The lack of transparency, continued charges, and non-existent customer service make the Dr. Oracle app a frustrating and costly experience. The issue is now fully resolved which is much appreciated. So the lesson is to persist and persevere. It’s also saved me from a few gotcha-type situations where OpenEvidence just gives a basic and frankly dangerous answer. I’d say Oracle is what PRACTICING doctors should be using. Also the developers are incredibly responsive to feedback. I emailed them requesting a specific guideline society to be added and it was there in 2 days. I highly recommend ignoring negative reviews from people who either can’t remember their own password or manage their subscriptions and don’t even bother contacting the company before leaving negative reviews. I’m honestly not surprised by the level of incompetence by your average doctor, these people still struggle with fax machines in 2025 so please take these reviews with a grain of salt. ### 5/5 — Incredible support *2025-08-05* These answers are incredible.
