## What is DrugSpot?

Losing hope trying to memorize the Top 200 drugs? You are not alone — and you do not have to grind through hundreds of hand made flashcards to get there. DrugSpot turns drug name memorization into something you will actually keep doing. Built for pharmacy technicians prepping for the PTCB and PTCE, and just as useful for pharmacy and PharmD students learning brand and generic names.

LEARN BY PLAYING, NOT BY DRILLING
Find drug names hidden in word search puzzles. Tap one to instantly see its brand names, indications, mechanism, and audio pronunciation. Learn 380+ medications across 25+ therapeutic categories.

BUILD YOUR OWN DECK — WITHOUT MAKING A SINGLE CARD
See a drug you need to know? Tap "Add to Flashcards" and it lands in Your Flashcards, ready for spaced repetition. The exact drugs you need, curated as you play.

IT REPEATS WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW — NOT WHAT YOU DO
Rate each card Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. A proven spaced repetition algorithm brings back the ones you are shaky on and fades the ones you have mastered. Start with 5, build to 200.

STUDY YOUR WAY
• Mixed practice — a bit of everything, due cards first
• Drug by drug — learn one fully, then the next
• By category, by the Top 200, or your whole deck

BUILT FOR THE TOP 200
The most prescribed medications, with easily confused name pairs flagged — so you study what the exam actually tests.

RACE FRIENDS (OR DRUGBOT)
Head to head puzzle matches, leaderboards, and streaks. Track XP, levels, and achievements as you go.

REVIEWED BY A PHARMACIST
Drug content is reviewed for educational accuracy by Ashley Anderson, R.Ph., MBA, and drawn from FDA and NIH data.

STUDY ANYWHERE
iPhone, iPad, and Mac — your progress syncs across all your devices.

### 4/5 — Completely scalable

*2026-07-18*

This app is scalable to what I need to learn for each drug, so I can control whether I get the specific trickle of information on each drug or the full fire hose! I really like the clear pronunciations the app gives for each drug. Will help me not sound like an idiot when I try to pronounce the hard ones.

**Developer response:** Thank you — this made our day! The "trickle to fire hose" control is exactly what we hoped people would use, and we're glad the pronunciations are helping. If there's a drug or category you'd like us to add next, let us know at support@laddermed.com. Happy studying!
