I’ll give two stars because the app works and looks good. But the free version has so little functionality that you might as well get  the Premium version if you want more. Also the drum sound themselves all have the harsher timbre of modern pop drums.  A country beat from the 70s, for example, should sound softer

**Developer response:** You can go to Settings and change the drum set. We can go softer with the funk drum set, or the jazz drum set, or go harder with the rock drum set. The more you use the app, the more will be available for free!

Merci pour votre retour mais la longue publicité avant l’utilisation est vraiment désagréable. Je ne suis pas contre payer, mais 30€/an me semble cher quand on compare à d’autres services ! Mon abo téléphone est à 2€/mois …

**Developer response:** Une page entière de publicité est diffusée toutes les 2 minutes (pour soutenir les développeurs). Un tarif relativement bas. Nous vous recommandons la version Premium sans publicité. Vous avez un iPhone avec un forfait à 2 euros par mois ? C'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Partagez-le avec qui. This is a cool fun app to practice guitar along to. The beats of famous songs like Van Halen’s Hot For Teacher is an added bonus. Unfortunately the app starts glitching and the rhythm starts spurting. You have to start and stop it because of that. Hopefully they get this bug fixed, but until then it’s a 2 star app.

**Developer response:** This is strange. We have many users including our developer who uses this app for live gigs and it rock steady and smooth for over an hour. Please ensure you are not running 3rd party apps in the background which may be competing for resource and also remember to update to the latest versions.

If you want to use other beats, you have to buy this app. Otherwise, the sample beats you get are metronome only. Screw that… that’s lame for even young beginners

Do not bother with the free version. It has too many adds to be useful. I did not try the paid version.

**Developer response:** Sorry you feel this way. There is a full page ad every 2 minutes to support the developers. We recommend you do try the premium version as many users go on to find it really useful.

I like this app. There are a good variety of musical styles represented. I like the quality of the samples.   With the paid version, I could see this being useful on a live gig for a solo performer. 

My suggestion is this:  can you add a volume control slider?  There are times when the beat needs to come up or turn down, and it is too cumbersome to try and do that with the side buttons on your device. A big, long-throw slider would be easy to adjust without breaking away from the instrument for too long. 

Also, the app would be more useful for me if you could set it up with the parameter controls on the top half of the page and the scrollable playlist on the bottom half of the page. That way, you could locate the next song more quickly without having to go back and forth between playlist and homepage.

**Developer response:** Yes. We've added a volume slider for all the different drum types. Please go to Settings and Mixer. You can shuffle playlists to the next / previous without having to go to the Homepage. Please read the tutorial for Playlists from the information/help pages. Honestly - I saw this in the App Store, and said “that’s just what I need!!” A SIMPLE, no frills Drumbo.

It only took 45 seconds to download (free, said the App Store review). I turned it on, and within 15 seconds it was acting just like a politician, begging for money snd my personal information and more money.

I never even got to HEAR it! Off my phone it goes, with zero additional fuss.

I hate you people, I hate you hate you hate you. You sicken me. If I could force you to ingest tainted lettuce, I would. 

Explosive diarrhea might teach you some honesty. Get. Out. Of. My. Life! 😡

Frustrating!  I just want to try it before I purchase the upgrade. Really terrible so many ads and we can’t get out of the loop and I never really got to try it. It seems like they’re intently doing doing this behavior might be up not worth you on the upper.

**Developer response:** There is only 1 full page ad every 2 minutes, which is a relatively low rate. And you can try the premium version with no ads for free.  Select the free trial (you can cancel anytime. Many users try it out and cancel. Many users try it out and continue. We recommend you try!
