### 2/5 — Too expensive

*2018-01-10, version 1.0.5*

Just bought the full version and I was expecting more for a $7 dollars app. Is not bad but isn't good enough. For the price isn't worthy, $2.99 would be a good price

### 2/5 — Not a fan

*2016-09-26*

Can't make playlist, can't export, wouldn't recommend

### 2/5 — You get what you pay for

*2016-09-05*

It's ok. Not realistic and reminiscent of a 90's Dr Beat drum machine. If you like that robotic synthesised sound, then this is for you. If you want something more, fork out the cash, or hire a drummer haha.

### 1/5 — Would Not Recommend

*2016-04-13*

Bought this thinking it would have a ton of loops to drum along too but you only get about 50 and most of them are in two categories. If you want different genres you have to pay more! And for the price this already is it's ridiculous you have to pay more to get more loops. Do not buy...

### 1/5 — Much less than advertised

*2016-01-27*

You get 50-60 loops, all in the rock and waltz genre. If you want more, then you have to pay $1.99 for each new genre. Not exactly the "hundreds" of loops that are advertised.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2016-01-02*

As a previous reviewer stated, I bought this expecting a range of beats. NOT the case. You have access to a limited number of beats, and are asked to pay extra for the others. Bogus. Such a limited feature set should be considered a demo at best. Save your money.

### 1/5 — Don't pay for this!

*2015-12-19*

As soon as I opened the first drum loop "70's street") I noticed a CLEAR delay in the tempo between bars. Really? I tried another and yup. Same thing. I figured I would try some of the basic jazz grooves (which is why I bought this in the first place, a student of mine had a cool AP at his lesson today) turns out that every descent swing or Latin groove is ANOTHER 1$. Thanks for nothing Emu.

### 1/5 — Completely rip off

*2015-11-28*

You can't loop a beat because there is a slight slur between each loop so it's out of time.
DO NOT BUY THIS RIP OFF!!!

### 1/5 — Pants

*2015-11-21*

Hardly any beats included in Italy purchase, total con.

### 1/5 — False description

*2015-11-12*

The app description says that loops of different styles are included for the 1.19, but doesn't tell you that you have to pay to actually even hear them, let alone play them. Make sure you're willing to spend extra money for any other sound (except for the 18-ish beats included). CHECK IN-APP PURCHASES first. NOT ALL INCLUDED.

### 2/5 — Drum loops

*2015-09-25*

They don't work They stop after 1 bar Would you please tell me what the problem is Thank you

### 1/5 — Thus app does not worth it

*2015-06-10*

You are just buying some horrible loops and you need to pay estra for the other ones... Just don't buy it guys

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Most purchases done work

*2024-05-14*

There’s free stuff to begin with that sounds good. I purchased an add-on ( RnB grooves) it doesn’t play the drum sounds, but squeals and hums rhythmically.

### 1/5 — no 6/8 seriously !?!?!?

*2023-01-25*

can i get my dollar back ???

### 1/5 — Should get a refund

*2023-01-22*

The included sets sounded good and so I purchased all. Well well... I literally purchased a bunch of noise. EXTREMELY disappointed. I should be refunded. Be aware

### 1/5 — Mike W.

*2022-12-11, version 1.0.5*

Been using this few a couple of years now. Lots of unique out side of the box grooves. If you want some creative loops to get into a new head space to practice or write with get these. I used this app for a couple of years as stated above. Unfortunately with my I phone SE this app is useless. Tried contacting the company about my issues but there does not seem to be anyone there. Don’t buy this app.

### 1/5 — Trash I want my money back!

*2022-03-31*

App does not work .

### 1/5 — Misleading & Glitchy

*2020-08-08*

App crashes right away. When it finally stopped crashing I only had access to a handful of loop and I couldn’t manipulator the tempo. The description heavily implies loops are available without mentioning most of them have to be purchased I will absolutely report this app and ask for a refund.

### 1/5 — DONT BUY

*2020-06-21*

Bought it for a $ and they are asking again for more money before playing any beats. Is this a scam?? Can’t contact app developer either.

### 1/5 — Needs a few features before asking for more money

*2019-01-28*

You’ll need to buy in-app purchases before you can really tell much about it

### 1/5 — Misleading Description

*2019-01-11*

I purchased this app only to find that the rather high price had very limited options. The description is very misleading. You only get a few beats with most requiring extra in app purchases at a very high price. Bad form.

### 1/5 — Stay away from this one

*2016-11-05*

Got suckered into thinking all the drum loops mentioned would be available-and they are but you have to purchase them separately to add them. Don't buy!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Everything

*2019-03-11*

I got the free version there is so much on there but I felt for the small asking price so I purchased the complete package and I’m not disappointed

### 5/5 — Perfect, easy to use app!

*2018-02-28*

I highly recommended this drum loops app. I use it everyday during my guitar teaching and my students enjoy me implementing it in the lesson. For 99p there’s more than enough drum beats to add variation but if you want more you can pay to unlock the whole app. I haven’t felt the need yet. I’m also impressed with the sound of the drums. A lot more realistic than some other drum loop apps out there.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2017-02-16, version 1.0.5*

As a professional musician and music teacher, this is one of my favorite apps to use for backing tracks! Keep the sound packs coming! I'm looking forward to seeing updates, soon! Thanks, AprilRox at AprilRox Studios 🎵

### 5/5 — Brilliant.

*2015-05-27*

Simply brilliant, lovely design and world class.

### 4/5 — Bari Bhai

*2015-06-30*

Excellent. Useful. Cost effective app

### 3/5 — Sound

*2021-11-28*

Some loops are ok but the sound quality is really tough, the mix is not well balance and the worst, If you like any pattern you cannot export it as a midi to be able to embetter the sound. Take my comment in a constructive way please.

### 3/5 — Cool app but...

*2018-12-28*

I like this for learning drum rudiments but my iPhone screen goes dark after a few.

### 3/5 — Some good beats

*2017-04-26*

I'm surprised that there are no shuffles or 12/8 feels though.

### 3/5 — Okay

*2016-03-31, version 1.0.5*

The app is good but it is quite underwhelming for the price. You only get like 50 or so drum grooves for the initial dollar and then you have the buy the rest. I went ahead and bought all of them which was like an extra 6 dollars i think. I did get a decent amount of loops for a good amount of categories. I wish they would add some metal grooves honestly though. And there is no sheet music for any of grooves which would have been nice if i wanted to learn some of them. I think for $7 there needs to be sheet music for all of the grooves and also some metal grooves too. If that got added in an update I would definitely rate this five stars. Even if they just added metal i would do five stars. But for everything in this app it really should only cost like $3, not $7.

### 3/5 — Almost a Winner ... But ...

*2014-10-10*

This is a great drum machine engine / platform however it falls horribly short on the most important
part of any drum loops player / machine and those are the loops sold as in App purchases . They are clunky , overly busy ( ie. Crash cymbals on every downbeat of a two bar loop . This, as anyone professionally using loops on the gig, makes the loops unusable . Sadly, the makers have made it impossible to import and play ones own samples ( via iTunes file shaing ) on their otherwise excellent drum machine . My advice to the designers : If you address these two main issues, you my well have the best drum machine in the App Store . You need better loops ( why not offer real drumming instead of drum programming ? ) . We need to be able to use our own loops on your interface . Lastly, how about a landscape
View option ? Thanks for your time . Good luck .
