Garage band would be fine except that you can’t do triplets and 16ths without making a new song essentially and it’s just overall not very user friendly. Diese App hat alles, was ich mir gewünscht habe. Ich habe sofort das Pro-Abo abgeschlossen. leider hat sich innerhalb von einem Jahr an der App kaum etwas geändert. Da finde ich den ziemlich heftigen Abopreis nicht gerechtfertigt. Ich habe den Verdacht, dass das Geld in die Entwicklung einer Plattform gesteckt wird, über die die Firma dann anders Geld verdienen kann. Meine Erwartung war, dass von dem Geld die App entwickelt wird, die ich nutze. Das finde ich ziemlich uncool… daher zwei Sterne Abzug und Abo wieder gekündigt. Ansonsten ist das ein verdammt gutes Werkzeug, um mehrstimmige Polyrhythmen zu notieren und zu hören, was man da geschrieben hat. Estava tudo certo até que atualizaram (mudou inclusive de nome) e aí começou a travar no meu iPad, funciona só no iPhone. Abro o app, começo a usar e ele crasha, fecha do nada. Abro de novo, e ele fecha de novo até vc desistir de usar. Uma pena, estava realmente me salvando. No celular é ruim de usar por conta do tamanho da tela. No iPad tava perfeito. I really do love it and see the huge potential in it, although it’s bugged a tiny bit so I’m just going get on to my complaints. PLEASE fix the bug with the accents, the accents literally don’t work, they work at first but once you save and exit the score and then return, the accents are gone and it’s so annoying. Also please make it easier to make accented beats, it’s mad annoying having to click them individually. Also just personal preference, but I don’t like the sound of the new Tom drum, the old one sounded clearer, but that’s just a bit pick. Tysm! I love this app just please fix the accents! I can’t even fully listen to one of my projects because it closes out so often. Also, one day (when it was less glitchy) I had made about 10 measures, and it closed out and deleted all of it. I initially liked this app for its simplicity and how quick it is to make something like a marching drum cadence. What really gets this app down is the sounds on the drum kit are late creating flam type sounds when played back. For example, a kick drum a 16th note before a snare drum creates a laggy feel. Drumap sets itself apart from this by actually doing what it says it will do. It’s a great tool for writing quick ideas on the go while not at your kit, workshopping grooves and fills, and/or writing instruction material for drumming students. I can’t express enough how much this tool has helped me on my drumming journey. Parabéns to the creators!! ### 5/5 — Fantastic for Capoeira! *2020-12-29* General Review - I’ve been playing with DrumAp for about 2 months now. The audio libraries are nicely preserved and have a “warm” sound. While you won’t be using this for professional production, the easy to use Controls makes it perfect for banging out a scratch track. Highlights include a broad selection of instruments to choose from, easy export to mp3, sheet music with custom section headers and the Price! I started with the free version to get a sense of the app, but soon converted to the .99 subscription. For playing around and visualizing your patterns the free version was certainly sufficient. For Capoeira - Most importantly the berimbaus sound good, are tuned to each other and have both open and pull-off version of the low/“Dom” note (for all three berimbaus.) It’s easy to make loops and to set custom loop parameters if you want to repeat an 8 or 16 bar measure, instead of the default 4. What I am using this for specifically is to create mp3 audio examples of the Toques with recordings of specific rhythm breaks. Using DrumAp I can give my students audio examples of what we are training in class, sheet music and a background track for them to practice at home with. This is awesome because usually 80% of new content is lost as soon as class is over. Now I can teach a class and give my students an audio reference of *exactly* what I want them to practice at home.
