### 2/5 — Mild feelings

*2025-12-19, version 4.0.2*

I miss the way the app used to look and how you were able to change the drums to diddles and that chop menu and it was like I was playing on the actual drum not these colored circle

### 4/5 — Improving playability and customizability

*2025-10-05, version 4.0.1*

This app is very good and useful, but one downside of using it on a smaller phone is not having enough room to play especially on tenors. A potential fix would be to allow the app to rotate into landscape mode, giving more space to work with. I also think it would be helpful to have more customization, like the ability to toggle rims on and off or create custom
playing zones. These feature would make it a more flexible, enjoyable and user friendly app.

### 4/5 — Great app just one flaw

*2025-09-23, version 4.0.0*

The only issue is that it is sometimes difficult and frustrating to hit the tenor drums without it hitting one of the rims or shots. So the only thing I have to say is add a landscape mode to the tenors and have on option to turn off rims and all of that to just have the drums

### 4/5 — Update: much improved

*2025-09-19, version 4.0.0*

With the new update the tenors most notably are very responsive. I really like the drum line inspired color tones and more modern design of the app. It’s much more usable now. Plus all the new features are really cool, and the tuner is awesome. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I wish that you could play the Tenors in landscape mode as opposed to just portrait mode, so that I can be more specific in my placement and sound better. But other than that an amazing improvement

### 3/5 — Hit boxes

*2025-07-13, version 3.2*

PLEASE and I mean PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE HIT BOXES. This game would be 5 star if the hit boxes were actually fixed.

### 3/5 — Flaws.

*2024-12-24, version 3.2*

Great game but flaws. One of them is that with tenors I get a buzz kinda noise with a drum, I’m not holding the drum or anything and some sound normal and others have the buzz.

### 2/5 — Mild feelings

*2024-11-29, version 3.2*

Worked well for months on my iPhone 11 but I recently switched to iPhone 16 but now each time I hit the right snare it hits a rim it and when i hit the left it takes a couple taps for it to do anything the cymbals don’t work at all and the tenors hit reverse order

### 2/5 — Great idea but only if it actually worked

*2024-11-09, version 3.2*

I thought this would be a bit better considering that it did cost money, but the drums are very unresponsive and anything attempted at a song is most likely failed. If this was fixed it would be five stars but DONT BUY unless there is an update or something

### 2/5 — Not registering

*2024-09-27, version 3.2*

Every time I play the drums such as tenors, snare or bass the notes does not register when I tap the phone not consistent at all I love the app but I need this to be fixed pls and ty

### 3/5 — Really fun! But…

*2024-09-13, version 3.2*

The sensor system for each drum is kinda bugged and will register a hit in a different area other than where you tapped. The snare is all over the place when registering your finger. Other than that, this app has great potential!

### 3/5 — App broke

*2024-08-12, version 3.2*

The app has terrible tracking for the snare drum, tenors are like 50/50 and everything else is meh. (This is from my app, yours may differ)

### 2/5 — Regret buying

*2024-06-11, version 3.2*

The app would be good if it’s one key feature worked, whenever you click on the drums, it sometimes just doesn’t work, it needs to have a bigger hit box and be less slow then I would rate it 5/5

### 4/5 — Pretty Good

*2024-02-20, version 3.2*

I think this is a great app, one problem though is the basses. They don’t all have different pitches, like the biggest one and the smallest bass have the same pitch. If that gets fixed, FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — You can’t edit drums or you can’t turn your screen to play the game

*2025-10-08, version 4.0.1*

You can’t edit drums or you can’t turn your screen to play the game

### 1/5 — Drum tenors

*2025-10-07, version 4.0.1*

I can’t play a full size tenors I wish they can fix that and the sound on Bluetooth is not picking up the note only late note

### 1/5 — Hitbox

*2025-08-05, version 3.2*

Sometimes hitting the drums doesn’t work

### 1/5 — No bass music

*2024-12-17, version 3.2*

On a iPhone the drums are not responsive and not only that but you pay extra for marching basses and can’t even make music for them. That is very dumb and shoudl be added. Overall bad purchase.

### 1/5 — Bugs

*2024-12-10, version 3.2*

Its bad… sorry. I understand note lag, but every note registers as a rim tap and not a drum tap.

### 1/5 — Complaints

*2024-07-16, version 3.2*

Does not make a sound

### 1/5 — Mal juego

*2024-06-04, version 3.2*

Esta todo trabado y cuando le doy click no hace caso👎

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2024-02-04*

The drums are broken. This is stupid. Bye!

**Developer response:** Fixed in version 4

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2024-01-21*

No sound is coming out

### 1/5 — NOT REASONABLE

*2024-01-07, version 3.2*

I play in a drumline, not a high class one, but I play, and this app is nothing like what you think it is, especially for the tenors. The hitboxes are nowhere near where they are supposed to be, where you tap randomizes the rimshots and rim hits, and sometimes my hits don’t even register. NOT WORTH $3.00!!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — WORTH YOUR MONEY

*2026-01-23, version 4.0.2*

This is awesome everything about it is too!

### 5/5 — Please Fix!!!

*2026-01-18, version 4.0.2*

Love the game but there is a bug where when I’m on tenors or bass it plays twice instead of just playing once.

### 5/5 — Yes.

*2025-11-15, version 4.0.2*

The bass was twitching and still is but this is amazing

### 5/5 — Interactive Devlopers

*2025-10-28, version 4.0.2*

Y’all are probably the best developers at fixing issues whenever somebody addresses them, like no one else. This app is way better than from when I first got it.

### 5/5 — My problem

*2025-07-19, version 3.2*

Hello creators my experience was great until 3 months ago it won’t let me play the actual drums like it’s not doing anything please fix this issue thx

### 5/5 — Marching Parade

*2025-03-09, version 3.2*

I absolutely love this game, this is very amusing, but I wondered if you could put a marching parade mini game option, like a Battle of the Bands styled game, but this is still good, although if you could customize them to ncaa teams, that would be awesome!

### 5/5 — Amazing.

*2024-11-10, version 3.2*

Wow. Drums are in tune, all marching percussion, lovely. It’s an amazing app.

### 5/5 — Not recommend

*2024-11-09, version 3.2*

Only has a couple options, the playing sounds a little off, and doesn’t really have any space to play different notes, although it does let you change the note dynamic, and has some pretty good options, I don’t recommend

### 5/5 — Great App, But Some Improvements Needed for Phones

*2024-09-14, version 3.2*

I love the Drumline app on my iPad—it’s a solid tool for drumming practice. However, using it on a phone is a different story. I often face issues with note registration on the tenors, snare, and bass drums. It’s frustrating when notes don’t register consistently. Additionally, the bass drums are puzzling; having two with the same pitch is confusing. I’d suggest arranging them in a clearer line instead of the current setup. These tweaks would make the app much more user-friendly on phones.

Would I recommend you get this app? absolutely if you have an iPad but definitely not if you have a phone. Since the app works fine on iPad 5 stars but please fix the issues that I’m having.

### 5/5 — Fun drum game!

*2024-06-12, version 3.2*

Ok this game is so fun for a person that likes drumming my favorite is the tener drum. but for 2 or 3$ this is a steal you should play this fun game.🥁 and you get to customize your drum different colors tuning the drum and you get pick backgrounds it’s a very fun game. If you’re looking into this, you should buy it.
