It works with your fingers or with the MIDI support, so you can plug your electronic drum or keyboard and play with the sounds of a real drum. To use it in MIDI mode you only need to connect your iPhone or iPod touch with one of the interfaces on the market, such as iRig MIDI. One thing missing from the jazz kit are the brushes. It would be nice to have this addition in a future update. I recommend this app over jazz drummer , rock drums . It’s so organic to manually create your own stuff. This app does it and then some. ### 5/5 — Good for my needs *2019-03-07, version 4.4* I use this app in conjunction with Freedrum, a Bluetooth wireless drum set. Sounds good through my Powerwerks PW50 pa. I like that you can configure the drum locations wherever you like and can adjust individual volumes. Each drum/cymbal can "learn" which midi note you want to use to trigger it. I use it at live gigs with AudioBus and LoopyHD. Super stable and never an issue.
