### 4/5 — Bonne application

*2026-07-12, version 2.0.3*

J’espère qu’on ne peut pas supprimer l’application et la réinstaller quand on a bu car elle serait, du coup, inutile..

### 3/5 — Needs work but overall good

*2025-08-21, version 1.17.17*

So I found this app after needing a way to keep me from drunk texting the work group chat when I'm partying. Overall the idea is great. I did some testing just now while sober so I know it will work when I go out drinking with friends tomorrow night and everything seems to work as intended. I think I found a bug that causes the time for deactivation on the dynamic island of newer iPhones to be frozen there even after the time is up and deactivated and after the app is closed out or after restarting my phone (the only way I got it to go away was uninstalling the app, I reinstalled it after). It's not the end of the world I'm sure it will get fixed in a future patch. That was the only real problem I had with the app and I think it will save me from sending the wrong text to the work group chat. Once y'all get that one bug taken care of I will definitely come back with a five star rating. It's a great app and thank you for being awesome developers.

### 5/5 — This is awesome!!

*2025-01-08*

I woke up today after drinking last night with zero feeling of oh no, what did I drunk text and to whom? Awesome! Thank you, developers!

**Developer response:** That's right! We had to learn the hard way, so you don't have to! We appreciate you trusting us to protect your social life.

### 5/5 — Game changer!!!

*2025-01-04, version 1.17.12*

So far, so amazing! This will change my life. As long as I can’t figure out how to turn it off when I’m drunk I’m good! I was using another app but unfortunately managed to work out how to take it off. I have my hopes set on this one!!! 🤞🙏

### 5/5 — Best app ever

*2024-12-06, version 1.17.9*

I never leave app reviews but this is a must have for any drinker. For the down to earth person who gets buzzed and is down to do everything unrealistic. You’ll text your buddies and make plans drunk or you’ll send 4 paragraphs to why they mean so much to you then the next day you’ll regret everything and delete the cringy texts you sent and if you’re like me maybe block them for a couple weeks lol. For drunk introverts this is a must have.

### 5/5 — Life saviour

*2024-12-01, version 1.17.7*

This app is the best app in my phone.

### 5/5 — Love it! And…

*2024-11-03, version 1.16.0*

What a genius idea! Wish I’d discovered it much sooner lol. Idk if this is possible, but maybe an idea for future updates… potentially have 1 or 2 contacts that you CAN text or message even in drunk mode? Like your bestie who would never judge you for your typos but would definitely like to know you got home safe and are now pounding down some nachos. Just a thought! Ty regardless 🩵

### 5/5 — Thank goodness

*2024-09-18, version 1.15.6*

This app actually works!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — Craig

*2024-08-05, version 1.14.3*

Finally. This works perfectly. Balanced, effective and (and some might not get this) kind. Thank you

### 5/5 — Drunk Mode Locker: Keeps the Party Out of Your Phone!

*2024-05-27, version 1.11.0*

This app is a lifesaver for anyone who's ever woken up with a text they'd rather forget. Drunk Mode Locker lets you choose which apps to lock down (looking at you, social media!), and then requires you to solve a quick puzzle or wait out a timer before you can access them again. Genial, right? ⏱️

Here's what I love:

No More Morning Regrets: Peace of mind knowing you can't accidentally send any embarrassing messages or posts.
Customizable Lockdown: Pick exactly which apps need some extra protection during a night out.
Variety of Unlock Options: Challenge yourself with a puzzle or set a timer to cool off before diving back in.
Drunk Mode Locker is a fun and effective way to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable night out, without any phone-related mishaps the next day. Definitely recommend!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-05-23, version 1.17.19*

Set text messaging app to be blocked and it still lets me open the app and send text messages.

### 1/5 — horrible

*2026-02-14, version 1.17.19*

Never written an app review before. Wow. I feel like a loser.

Anyway, this was the worst app I’ve ever used in my life.

Whoever made it should contemplate alternative options.

Good night

### 1/5 — Do not download

*2025-06-03, version 1.17.17*

App is a scam, doesn’t work and you made have to reset your iPhone to delete it.

### 1/5 — These people are monsters

*2024-09-16*

Hey call people who use this app losers because you must be on your high horse living a perfect life looking down on people. I bet you believe in God too. There you go one way to bring people closer to God call them losers for drinking. So if a person gets drunk once a month, once a week, etc. loser. Because you can act holier than though vs trying to do something good to help others with whatever they are going through. Did not seem to work as I was able to get on my phone and on to X even though I blocked it. Hmmm insult your users and not work well. They also force you use notifications and send notifications often. Be the app and nothing else, but don’t be cruel monsters

**Developer response:** Hi there! This app is aimed to help users limit their phone activity while drunk. We do not try to push any kind of prerogative other than drinking safety, but we appreciate your feedback and are sorry you had a bad experience before and after using Drunk Mode. In order for ScreenTime applications to work, some apps need to be removed from "Always Allowed" (some apps cannot be removed such as Phone because that is a safety hazard). If you search "Always Allowed" in Spotlight, you should be able to find it in the Settings app and you can remove X from that. Thanks for giving us a shot!

Edit: Hello again! We noticed you updated your review and tried to address some of your concerns; we have disabled the annoying requirement for notifications in the newest release. We appreciate your continued use of Drunk Mode, despite the issues you have encountered. Hopefully, iOS 18 gives developers more options when it comes to limiting apps and messages to specific contacts. Thanks again for your feedback!

### 1/5 — Cannot even log in - useless

*2024-09-10*

Doesn’t work. Disappointed

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for trying out Drunk Mode! We did discover an issue with account creation at the time of your support request and review that should now be fixed! We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you bringing thaf to our attention

### 1/5 — Not doing as promised

*2024-06-22, version 1.13.2*

The app says that you can disable calls in drunk mode but after downloading the app and then upgrading to the paid version I still can’t disable calls? The bug button also isn’t working. Disappointing

### 2/5 — Buggy

*2025-12-30, version 1.17.19*

I keep trying to deactivate it to change what apps get locked but it keeps coming up with enjoying drunk mode then error then enjoying drunk mode so now I can’t watch TikTok untill 5 in the morning

### 2/5 — Doesn’t stop text messages and phone calls

*2025-06-05, version 1.17.17*

It pauses most apps but not text messages and phone calls which are the apps I need to pause. I checked and they are marked as being included

### 3/5 — Go home (no)

*2025-12-29, version 1.17.18*

Never suggest someone drunk do go home, really! The app is perfect for someone like be but this message « you drunk go home » are you insane suggesting that to drunks?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Wait actually

*2026-06-14, version 2.0.2*

This app works, you don’t have to care about advertisements or anything bc hoe why are you texting while drunk. We all know that leads to problems. Phone off. I love this app. I set my puzzle to a simple “are you drunk” question because what if im in danger. The reminder alone when I hit the message app just helps me remember when I’m drunk that I have a tendency to text people and so I stop and put my phone away. Thank you!!!!

### 5/5 — If I only knew….

*2026-03-16, version 1.17.19*

My one issue is texting when drunk. If u set this up properly, it’s impossible to text someone. The R U SOBERZ game proves that. I can leave work at 10, set the timer for 14 hours, and it’s literally impossible to text until i wake up for work the next day. I’ll update if I somehow ever find a workaround that leads to regret.

### 5/5 — Really helps

*2026-01-26, version 1.17.19*

Productivity up, bad decisions down

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-01-13, version 1.17.19*

Can finally stop drunk texting my ex thank you 😛

### 5/5 — Kudos to the developers!

*2025-08-03, version 1.17.17*

Works exactly as expected!

### 5/5 — Lia

*2025-06-30, version 1.17.17*

Really helpful in reminding me that I’m drunk mode.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2025-05-31, version 1.17.17*

Perfect app, exactly what I was looking for.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2025-05-05, version 1.17.16*

I’ve been using this app post breakup to avoid texting my ex and prowling their social media like a heartbroken psycho. Does it’s job and also can be used to just lock certain apps that are harming your productivity if you find yourself on your phone too much. Been using it for months and love it.

### 5/5 — Bw.anthony on insta review

*2025-03-08, version 1.17.15*

My honest review. As a guy who gets drunk and wakes up to a whole mess of texts to random people and it affects my relationship and work life. Plz use this app and help yourself. Dont be afraid take puzzles difficult. So far this all is saving my a**. Btw I’m writing this dru**. So believe me it’s helping. I would’ve texted my bm so much.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2025-02-15, version 1.17.15*

This app does its job. No notes.
