### 4/5 — Great workouts with some room for improvement

*2026-07-09*

Really love this app, the workouts have genuinely improved my golf game. A couple areas for improvement - would be great if we could just start a workout and it flows through it, automatically going into rest times etc. without having to constantly be clicking through (see the Ladder app for a reference). Would also love a comprehensive program that fits in all the pieces - mobility, workout, and golf swing. Or just guidance on what to do each day. Hope to see continued improvements because I truly do love DRVN!

### 4/5 — Great Programs. Would like some easier tracking/workout subs.

*2026-04-28*

Day 1 of my program and the program was great. I would say, the improvement I ask for is quicker, easier tracking for when you do the alternate exercises. Too many steps to get into the alternate lifts and then track and go way back to original sets and timing. Give the option to switch out the exercises and track the weights faster while working out.

### 4/5 — It’s really great but one improvement could make it incredible

*2026-03-22*

I have been using for 6-7 weeks now. Love the workouts!

One update could take this app to the next level. Find a way to build in baseline weights or max lifts at the start of the program. Then calculate what weight I need to use according to the recommended RPE.

I don’t want to have to calculate it myself. The app should tell me why I need to lift for each one vs trying to look back each time and figure it out on my own. Hope this helps. Looking forward to continue using.

### 4/5 — Great golf workout app

*2025-12-28*

Really enjoy the app and the many workout videos. Combining this with solid golf drills has helped me hit the ball with more confidence.
Only reason not a 5 star is I cannot view my handicap without completing a workout. The app layout can be quite confusing and would like to see my handicap over a feed of others swinging. Hopefully the new update gives me this option.

### 5/5 — Dvrn

*2025-08-26*

Solid app for golfers to work on swing, speed, strength, and mobility. I especially like that each of the exercises has options if you don’t have a particular piece of equipment. Well done. Numerous types of programs or go daily WOD style. Looking forward to the updated videos to go with rebranding
G to DVRN.

**Developer response:** Thanks! New videos coming soon!

### 4/5 — Good but confusing

*2025-07-17*

I like the exercise programs better than other apps because they are more aggressive workouts. Others apps seem to be aimed at old guys who never workout.

The downside is it is a bit confusing how DRVN relates to GolfWod . Haven’t been able to get GolfWod to work so haven’t been able to do the assessment portion of the program

**Developer response:** Hey Merrill,

We rebranded away from GOLFWOD so everything here in the DRVN App - the Assessment current can be found in your HCP page - you have access to everything you need.

Golf Strong, Michael - DRVN

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-06-24, version 4.8*

Love this app. Wish there was some drills and what not for at home work like chipping into a net and what not.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-06-17*

This app is amazing for someone (like me) that gets bored with normal workouts feeling like it’s for no reason. Feeling like this will directly impact my golf game is all the motivation I need to get started! The app is awesome I do wish when making a workout change in the “options” tab, it would save to the workout plan you are viewing instead of going back to what that daily plan shows. There might be a way I just haven’t found it yet.

### 5/5 — Finally

*2025-04-24, version 4.7*

Took me trying a few programs, but finally found the one that allows me to be athletic and also train for golf in the gym

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2025-03-27, version 4.7*

Perfect for golf training, love the progressions of the workouts, weight tracking and golf fitness handicap! Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Tried several apps. This is the best.

*2025-03-17*

I have tried several “golf fitness” apps. This one is the best organized and is a one stop shop. Not just workout stuff but also mobility. Really love that there are “options” for each exercise; that way if a machine is taken or you’re not feeling a certain move you can audible to something different that still focuses on that overall movement. Still in the free trial but will definitely pay for this one.

### 5/5 — Absolutely Amazing App and Improvements are Frequent

*2025-02-04*

I downloaded this app and purchased a lifetime subscription a few years back, when it was still GolfWOD. Then, as it does with so many of us, I stopped hitting the gym and fell out of the workouts.

Fast-forward a few years, and I started it back up, and found an app that had been entirely revamped, with the ability to log weights used during workouts, alternative workout options when the equipment wasn't available, and much better organization to all of the tools it offers.

Not only do I find it to be great in guiding me through workouts, but the ability to know where I'm progressing and which weights to grab in a streamlined format has been a dream. In two months, I'm down 20 lbs and eager to come out of winter hibernation and start playing this spring.

My only recommended change would be to set a preference for units. As dumb as the imperial system is, everything here in the states is in lbs, and it would be nice to not have to constantly switch from kgs. Even so, the fact that it will save the weight regardless of unit is a huge boon.

Thrilled to have this app and keep working with it.

### 1/5 — New program update

*2026-02-02, version 5.3*

The new software update erased my entire program and all progress. Also, the exercise video doesn’t properly fit to my iPad screen so I’m only seeing a partial view of the video

### 1/5 — Pay to use

*2026-01-26, version 5.2*

100% not free to use at all. Pay your use out of the gate. Downloaded and instantly deleted.

### 1/5 — Bad App

*2026-01-25, version 5.2*

The app sucks. Extremely difficult to get a steady set of daily exercises. Just not user-friendly.

### 1/5 — Not of good value

*2026-01-15, version 5.2*

The app has no real value. The content is rather static and does not provide any terms of guided training. There is no timer there is no suggestion what to do next so for me it was really not a good experience. I paid roughly hundred euro for a lifetime membership during one of these black days, but as I said, I would not do it again.

### 1/5 — Not free at all

*2025-08-13, version 4.8*

This app says it’s free but it can’t be used at all without creating an account and paying for a recurring subscription. The free part is just an advertisement of how great it will be after you pay for it.

### 1/5 — Unable to test

*2025-04-25, version 4.7*

From what I have read looks like a good app. However, you have to setup a membership to even do some exploring. I wish these apps would allow 2 or 3 days trial without providing a payment. I want to know more about how the app is structured and performs. If they are afraid of giving away exercise secrets then go to the web and you can find anything you want.

### 1/5 — This is terrible

*2025-04-19, version 4.7*

This app is absolutely terrible. I paid $15 and it still made me pay. I even looked in my account it took the money out!! But it still wouldn’t let me do any workouts!! If anyone is looking to get this app don’t, it is such a waste of time and money!

### 1/5 — Review pop up froze the app

*2023-06-19, version 2.7*

The pop up asking for this review froze my app in the middle of the workout. Other wise it’s a great program and decent app/

### 1/5 — Server error

*2022-01-26, version 1.0*

I was really excited when I found this app. Unfortunately, the sign-in process throws a server error. Then I signed in on the website and tried to log-in within the app. The new error told me, that my email address was unknown… too bad. Would have loved to see what they offered!

### 2/5 — Ridiculous Pricing

*2026-02-18, version 5.4*

This is more than my Adobe subscription that I make a living off of lol. It’s more than my mobile plan. Who comes up with this?!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Update

*2026-02-28, version 5.5*

I did end up receiving a response to my questions, but somehow my initial questions were not caught. The app itself is great, and the workouts are perfect. I give the app 6 stars and my level of patience 1 star.

### 5/5 — Changed my game

*2026-02-25*

I’ve been using the app for a little over 6 months now. I will admit when they did the update I was bummed to lose track of all my progress but I understand why it was done.

Doing the workouts and mobility I have quickly (to my surprise) jumped in club head speed and I am far less fatigued after walking 18. I aim for M/W/F workout and Tue/Thur/Sat mobility.

I’m looking forward to more workouts and setting some new future goals.

I’m hoping one day they will add a nutrition section not to track but to at least discuss vital things like protein consumption and calorie intake. That will help a lot of people that don’t realize they need to add more if they’re trying to build more muscle.

### 5/5 — Do whatever you need to do to make this part of your day-to-day life.

*2026-01-29, version 5.3*

Admittedly, I’m a “new-ish” user on the app, but I felt an immediate need to leave a review because of how impressive and thoughtfully built this app is. I’ve used many fitness apps over the years and always wished for programs that truly adapt to my goals. As someone whose goals evolve (sometimes on the fly), the flexibility and precise customization this app offers makes that not only possible, but effortless.

The DRVN team has completely redefined personalized fitness. Centering it around golf is what makes this app an absolute must have for golfers of any skill level who want to get more out of their game. That said, you don’t even need to golf to experience the full benefits. This app stands on its own as an exceptional strength, mobility, and movement platform and has even incorporated a fun way to hold yourself accountable through a “Fitness Handicap”.

Beyond the training plans, the app offers a massive library of fitness and mobility exercises you can jump into anytime or seamlessly integrate into a custom program. There’s also a strong community aspect allowing you to follow and engage with other users. On top of all of that, PGA trainer Michael goes beyond workouts and provides insights into swing techniques and how to train in ways that directly support better movement and performance.

I still feel like I’m not doing it full justice but this is one of those apps you simply have to experience for yourself. If you’re serious about improving your performance, longevity, and overall fitness, I highly recommend doing whatever you need to do to make this part of your day-to-day life.

### 5/5 — Great golf training app!

*2026-01-27, version 5.3*

This app does everything I want it to with great programs and a lot of features that really help me to stay consistent with my fitness, stretching and working on my golf swing. New update is awesome - highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Love DRVN

*2026-01-21*

I have tried many of the workout programs and apps and they are all great but they weren’t helping my golf game. I found DRVN and it has been a game changer. I never could feel weight transfer and through the exercises and mobility training it is now showing up in my golf swing naturally. It’s a beautiful thing to watch those drives sail down the fairway. Thanks DRVN!

### 5/5 — Great golf workout app

*2026-01-03, version 5.2*

Been using the app for roughly 2 months now. Really love the variety of programs and how they can all contribute to the golf swing. Combining the three important aspects of the golf swing - drills, mobility & strength, has helped me shoot back to back sub 80 rounds of golf. First time ever for me!! And I completed a 2025 goal: shooting par or better on a front/back 9 holes. Completed this on 12/31/25, perfect timing.
Another thing I enjoy about the app is the weight tracking for each workout. Takes the guessing out from each week. Which shows me progress and when I need to start moving more weight.

Overall, I really enjoy the app. Highly recommended!! So glad I got the Black Friday deal and became a lifetime member.

### 5/5 — Lowering my Handicap

*2025-12-14, version 5.2*

I have been doing this program for two months now. I have lowered my handicap from a 14.5 to a 11.6. I feel so much better over the ball and feel better in overall life. Thank you for the great program.

### 5/5 — What I was looking for to improve during the Golf Offseason

*2025-12-07*

Was looking for an app that would give me daily exercises to do in the gym without staring at the equipment every day and trying to figure out what to do. This app does that for me! It’s easy to work with. It’s easy to navigate through and I’ve already recommended to several golfers.

### 5/5 — High quality programs

*2025-12-02, version 5.2*

Tons of different programs to dial in what you are trying to achieve. Top notch pairings of both strength and explosive/plyometeric movements.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Golf App

*2025-08-29*

This app is exactly what I was looking for. The golf instruction is perfect. I set up a net in my garage to take light swings to work on technique and drills. I am a few weeks in and I spend 30 min. per day following the PGA drills and then I will move onto other things. The mobility exercises are also really good. I have really tight hips and been following the mobility. I have a fitness background do I compliment it with other exercise I know. I haven’t really followed the fitness end of the programs yet but take a few rotational exercises here and there and just add it to my pen routines I design for myself with my fitness background. I did look at the fitness exercises and for a beginner to intermediate the exercises are well structured and make sense. They are just a little too easy as I am fairly advanced in my fitness level and knowledge. I am currently an 18 handicap. I plan to keep using this with the goal of being under 10 by the end of next season. Great app, highly recommend if you are looking for drills to do. I have found simply going to the range and smashing a ball just does not work to increase your golf game. You need practice, drills and structure like anything else.

**Developer response:** Thanks! Make sure to post swing vids in the feed for some feedback from our coaches.
