### 2/5 — Simple but off

*2023-03-06*

The pros: Simple to use and I like how you can save different drills. For example I can set up 5 different times for bill drills that I use for different yards.

The Con: Major complaint is the time is off. It’s much faster then a actual timer. Probably off by .2 or more. Also if you want to stop you need to go back to the beginning. I like to set up a drill and do maybe 10 reps and then bring the par time down and continue. The problem is if you want to stop you have to start from the beginning.

### 1/5 — No What I was Expecting

*2017-12-02, version 1.0.3*

Will not record your times

### 2/5 — Excessive price

*2017-09-06, version 1.0.3*

Just downloaded it and quite frankly, had I known, I wouldn't have. It works fine, lacks a bit In customization and is certainly too expensive for what it offers. A 1-4$ price point would have been more appropriate.

### 1/5 — Ripoff. Does not record your speed.

*2017-01-16*

Useless. Doesn't not listen/record your speed. It simply says "Standby" and beeps. Awful. Ripoff. What a jerk.

### 2/5 — Has potential

*2016-01-16*

Not quite worth $9 without the ability to the following

-create folders for drills
-add notes for starting conditions
-louder volume

### 1/5 — Can't even open this app

*2013-06-17*

iPad with iOS 5.1.1 and I can't even open this app (just keeps crashing)

### 1/5 — Awful Update

*2026-03-14*

The new update is awful. First it deleted all my saved drills from the previous version, with no warning.

Now it quits immediately on launch, I’ll probably have to delete the save data, along with all my drills that I had to recreate, if I want to run it again.

On top of that, the stupid save screen that now comes after every drill is an annoyance.

Find another timer app, this is a guaranteed disappointment.

### 1/5 — Audio doesn’t work

*2025-04-07*

Can’t figure out what’s wrong with it no matter what I try I get no part-time beep or start time beep

### 1/5 — No volume

*2022-11-02*

Stopped working. There is no noise anymore. Been this way for at least a couple months.

### 1/5 — Dead app

*2022-10-04*

No sound, defeats the point

### 1/5 — No sound = useless

*2022-04-19*

The sound doesn’t work. The patch notes from the last update (which was a while ago) say this known issue was fixed. It’s not. The app is useless without sound. It’s literally a tool that says “get ready” then beeps to start and again at the end of the par time. I was interested in the ability to set up drills that automatically take you through multiple reps at different par times. That function (and really the whole app) is USELESS without sound cues. I emailed the developer and I hope he fixes this right away.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-10-11*

Dod not attend my training needs. Does not indicate the shoot time.

### 1/5 — Bad purchase

*2020-08-08*

This app is worthless. Does not work

### 1/5 — Trash

*2019-11-13*

Absolute trash. No audio whatsoever. No beeps no standby nothing. I paid for literally nothing but a ripoff

### 1/5 — AVOID!

*2019-07-01*

No audio out! Has not been updated in 4 years.

### 1/5 — No audio

*2017-12-05, version 1.0.3*

App has no audio, no first shot or split results, complete waste of money.

### 5/5 — It is back!

*2026-04-25*

My favourite dry fire timer is back after an update. I have been using this timer for many years and cannot fault it.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2021-05-09*

Exactly what you need to practice and improve for USPSA, IPSC, etc.

### 5/5 — Excellent app for dry fire

*2021-01-23, version 1.0.4*

An excellent dry fire tool. Create your dry fire drill, set your par time, number of reps and strings. No need to remember your par times anymore, it is in the app and ready to go. Could be improved by the ability to add a photo and detailed description of each individual drill.

### 5/5 — Must buy

*2018-12-21*

100% great app. $8.99... saves TIME and focuses dry-fire. Is it perfect? No. Worth it? Yes.

### 5/5 — Great for dry fire

*2017-04-04*

Great for home or range. Works better than shot timer for dry fire practice as you can use it hands free and with a Bluetooth speaker can be used for multiple shooters on firing line.

### 5/5 — Simple and Effective

*2015-03-21*

This app does not come with a lot of features but it is simple and effective and does what I needed to do. You can easily make new drills and save them. Each drill consists of a number of strings and each string has a number for a repetitions. For each string you set the par time. With a simple click of a button you can adjust all the par times in the drill as you improve. Each drill is saved using the par times you have set. This app is easier to use for dry fire practice then a shot timer. I recommend it.

### 4/5 — Very customizable. Needs pause.

*2020-12-02*

I like this app. It does almost everything I need it to do. Except PAUSE!

Once you start a drill, if you stop, you have to start all over again.

Allowing to set the number of reps, reset time, progressive reduction in par times all great.

Just need the pause option.

### 4/5 — Great, but worth $8.99?

*2015-11-29*

So I love this app, works great for dry fire practice. Only thing I'm wondering is why it's so expensive for such a simple cut and dry app.

Please add some features to make it worth the price. At the moment it feels like it should cost $0.99.

The ability to drag and drop stings would be nice, let's say I want to add a new string to the BEGINNING of the drill. Right now that requires making a new string at the END of the drill and then changing the repetition and par time for every other string before it in the list.

Also, some way to sync or export/import drills would be nice. Would be a hassle to rebuild a long list of drills when buying a new phone for example. Would be great to import training drills from other users as well.

Honestly, for $8.99, I feel this app is missing features. Again, it works great, it's just so simple that it should be much cheaper. I mean, it doesn't even double as an actual live fire timer, come pre loaded with popular drills, or have any features of the like.

### 3/5 — Timer is wrong

*2019-11-23*

The actual time between beeps differs from the displayed time by a few tenths of a second, which is a bid deal for short times. A par time of 1 s is closer to 0.8 s, for example.

### 3/5 — Add-on

*2014-02-09, version 1.0.2*

Need multiple beeps per string, helps me push my changes without constant prompting to be ready.
