They're also slightly cheaper than my previous laundry service so overall I'm V happy with the app and service. Update, August 2018: reliability and turnaround time has gotten much worse lately, so I will be trying other services. ### 2/5 — Major issues with my order *2018-01-14, version 2.5.1* Hello Andrew I emailed to no avail with proof! that I requested my pickup and the system it showed cancelled and rescheduled for delivery be . I had can to call the cleaners to confirm my pickup & delivery time requested . And guaranteed if will be delivered on Friday. Below I received a text it would be delivered by 7:31pm to no avail. The payment was taken out of my account but my clothes aren’t here as requested nor was I updated on changes. I have had my card I used for payment kept charging me which frozen the account in Nov 2017! and also almost had to get a new one! This isn’t the first time this has happened. I need that dress I had in my order for an event. And had to to spend more money. This isn’t only issue had with this company . I also emailed Andrew is more proof to back up this response. With no response ! I even called the cleaners to verify my order would be delivered on Friday . Because my original request said “ cancelled & redelivery” which I did not request and I called they weren’t even on time to pick my order. And I was told it will be picked that which wasn’t until 1/hr past the time requested which between 10-1pm. And was guaranteed delivery on Friday and even received a text stating the drivers arrival @7:31pm! But again my card was charged on time not order. This is really becoming a major hassle. As a customer this is beyond frustrating !! ### 1/5 — Terrible Service *2017-02-05, version 2.1.2* This is the absolutely worst on demand dry cleaning service on the market. If you're considering trying out his service, I would highly recommend choosing a different company. I rarely rate companies on here unless the services are absolutely terrible and feel I should let others know. Here a few reasons why I would avoid DRYV: 1. Multiple time they have missed the pick up times and then have their drivers start calling you multiple times during the work day asking where the dry cleaning is. The issue is the app clearly states the dry cleaning is with your doorman. 2. Multiple times dry cleaning is not cleaned and smells worse than you received it. You then have to resend the laundry back to get cleaned again. Completely eliminating the convenience of the service. 3. Most recently they sent me the wrong dry cleaning. I only received 1/3 of my order. I emailed them and asked for a call back, but only receive emails from various customer services reps. The reps said they are still trying to "locate" the shirts bc they sent them to the wrong person. The next day they sent one of their drivers to my front desk and he verbally harassed my amazing doorman, accusing them of losing the shirts. It has been over 2 weeks and I still do not have 6 shirts back with over $600. The most recent incident has been the last straw and I will never use this company again. Buyer/user avoid at all cost. ### 1/5 — Used for months-- giving up now *2017-01-19, version 1.15.4* I used DryV 6-7 times over the course of a few months. Convenient at the start, but I've encountered more and more problems. That paired with increasingly ineffective customer service means that it is no longer worth paying additional money per item for this service. A number of problems: -dishonest pricing-- noticed a "expedited" charge on an order that hadn't been expedited. They fixed it when I contacted them. -unreliable pick-up-- The first time that a driver didn't show up on time, they sent a courier immediately and gave me a $5 credit. The second time, they pretended that I had never scheduled my drop-off even after I sent them a screenshot. The third time, they barely apologized and said they couldn't send my order until the next night. -technical glitches-- App allowed me to schedule pick-up for a time when the cleaner wasn't open. The app also showed that I was getting my dry cleaning from a different provider than the one they sent it to. -ineffective customer service-- Only way to communicate is through email, which is unreliable at best. No option to text or to call them. For later mistakes, they barely apologized and never offered refunds or credit for mistakes that were clearly their fault. Dry cleaning pick-up and delivery is only convenient when it is reliable. Sadly, it seems that DryV can no longer provide that service. ### 1/5 — Horrible customer service *2017-01-09, version 2.0.1* Horrible customer service from the support staff all the way down to the drivers. Faithfully late, rude, disorganized and incompetent. I keep hoping they will turn it around but they always let me down. The Chicago "team" in particular especially needs some serious customer service training! ### 1/5 — App has its glitches/crashes-but horrible service *2017-01-04, version 2.0.3* The app has a tendency to not hold onto the date and time selected for pick up when placing order. As a result, you are forced to ask for the delivery again at the time when you're expecting the item to be returned. Horrible customer service! sent a comforter in to be dry cleaned & they held it for three days longer than my selected delivery date. Then to top it off, promise when I got the item back it wasn't even cleaned; no one had even touched it! Stay away! ### 2/5 — Wrinkled clothes and very expensive. *2017-01-02, version 2.0.2* Normal clothes were very wrinkled when I received them back. Some things were so wrinkled that they went straight back into the dirty pile. Put in CTA20 coupon code and didn't get the discount. I email the support about this issue and never got a response. It's also important to note that laundry is much heavier than you think. I turned in one basket worth of cloths and a few (6) button ups. Ended up costing more than 80 bucks. ### 1/5 — Won't use again. *2016-11-28, version 1.15.4* I'm in LA, and it's hard to find a good laundry delivery service unlike NY or Chicago. They supposedly operate 24/7 but my order has yet to be ready (just simple wash/fold) and it's been 7 days. I emailed twice and finally got a response that the cleaner took longer because of the holiday. Understood, but the app doesn't have any data to support that and the lack of responsiveness is awful for this type of service. I should have just taken it to a cleaner myself. Do not recommend for LA! ### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs!!!! *2016-08-08, version 1.14.0* Avoid at all costs! They cancelled my order without notifying and now I'm stranded without clothes for a whole week while traveling for work. Amateurs - don't have their sh** together...spare yourself the headache and go to your neighborhood dry cleaner. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2016-07-03, version 1.13.5* Downloaded it, didn't get past the sign up screen. The app gets stuck on the sign up page with keyboard unable to minimize. Great development guys. ### 3/5 — Great Local Service *2016-06-27* Great and very responsive service! Any issues, which are hardly any, they make it right! I wasn't able to log on and sent a twitter message, within seconds got a real message. I've used them and a competitor, but they don't have a delivery fee like the other. Had to drop the 5 rating to a 3. Their billing is horrible and I am being to not trust them. They charge you for laundry that was done 4 months ago, really??? This happened on several occasions and I told them I could swear I paid for the service back then, they said I hadn't. I'm so busy that I haven't gotten around to checking my books months prior...thanks DRYV- as if I have nothing to do but check something you should have handled months ago not months and months after! **Developer response:** Hey there, We apologize for the billing issues that you experienced in the past. We have located and mended the problem which stemmed from a bug in the billing process. DRYV strives to provide transparent pricing by sending two invoices, one for review and one at billing. All should be set here on out! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2022-04-11, version 2.5.10* After reinstalling the app and trying several times to enter my street address, it kept giving me a bunch of error messages saying that it can’t process my entry. This blows. I’m taking my business elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Don’t use them! *2019-09-27, version 2.5.9* Used them for a little bit and after a bit I started pulling out shirts I hadn’t worn in a while. They were completely ruined and custom shirts. Strongly advise against! ### 1/5 — Great app and bad service *2019-06-06, version 2.5.9* I have used DryV for several months and have had mixed experiences. The service has been either perfect or frustrating. Depending on the specific cleaners that have cleaned my items, I have had a great experience or horrible experience. 75 percent of the time I did not have any problems. However, the other times have resulted in clothes not properly cleaned, items not delivered on time or lost, buttons missing on shirts, and ripped cuffs on my French cuff shirts. Whenever I experienced a problem, customer service was bad. Looking for a new service that delivers. ### 1/5 — Expensive and slow *2019-06-06, version 2.5.9* These folks have a locker in my building, and I wear shirts to work every day that I'd rather pay to have cleaned and pressed than do it myself. It took them 5 business days to turnaround 2 shirts and a pair of pants, and their price per shirt is 3-4x that of local cleaners. I'd love to use them for my regular cleaning but the convenience isn't worth the premium they're asking. ### 1/5 — Can’t see pricing *2018-12-16, version 2.5.9* The app constantly closes when clicking on the prices. Not cool. ### 1/5 — Make sure you allot all day for pick up and delivery *2017-09-15, version 2.2.3* I don't understand the point of picking a time frame to pick up or deliver the garments when the day they are supposed to arrive the time changes. I booked my pick up from 8am-11am and the app changed the time to 8am-8pm and the driver came at 1pm. I scheduled my delivery from 3-6pm and the app changed my range from 1pm-8pm. It's frustrating to plan your day around when the clothing will be ready, you would be better off picking up the garments at the dry cleaner at this rate. ### 1/5 — Terrible Service *2017-08-24, version 2.2.3* When I started using the service two years ago, it was great. After multiple mix ups, misunderstandings, misplaced items, and promised refunds that were charged anyway I am completely fed up. The service seems convenient as a business model, but there serious issues with operations and reliability. I recommend using a traditional dry cleaning company without the middle man (DRYV) and will regretfully deleting my account. ### 1/5 — Terrible Service *2017-04-04, version 2.1.6* I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND using DRYV or Corner Stone Cleaners. I began using DRYV in February 2016. The company was fairly new at the time and I was looking for a reliable delivery dry cleaning service. Because of my job, I could not reliably get to a dry cleaner to pick up my clothing before closing time and DRYV seemed to be a reasonable alternative. Over the course of the past year, several orders have been riddled with minor issues - missed pickups/drop offs, misplaced items, stained clothing, etc. - but, DRYV was always able to resolve my issues in a reasonable manner. After several stained items and the second missed delivery (when our clothing just never showed up), my wife suggested that we look for a different option. But, my attitude was that as long as DRYV continued to be responsive and able to resolve any issues that arose, I would stick with them. Long story short, my wife was right. Most recently (January 2017), I submitted an order of several items for dry cleaning including a two piece suit. The orders was processed by Corner Stone Cleaners. When the order was dropped off, the suit pants were returned, but not the jacket. I notified DRYV support as soon as I realized that the jacket was missing in hopes that they would be able to locate it. Unfortunately, neither DRYV nor Corner Stone Cleaners were able to locate my jacket. They offered to replace the jacket, but I explained to DRYV that this suit was custom fitted several years ago when I lived elsewhere and that I had no mechanism by which to obtain a jacket to re-complete my suit. Thus, I asked that the suit be replaced in its entirety. After several rounds of back and forth emails, they refused to replace my suit, but did offer to purchase me a new jacket. Even after that, I have gone back and forth DRYV customer service and have gotten the complete run around. We are now going on three months and I still do not have a replacement item. Best case scenario, I will be left with suit pants without a matching jacket and a suit jacket without matching pants...over three months after my item was lost. Ultimately, DRYV and/or Corner Stone Cleaners lost my item and I am stuck with the expense of purchasing a new suit.
