## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-08

Recipe import from TikTok/YouTube
- Share a TikTok or YouTube link into DryveFit via the OS share sheet, and it extracts the recipe (title, ingredients, steps) from the video's caption using AI, with a review/edit step before saving.
- Saved recipes are private to you — a bookmark list, not a shared feed. Two people can independently save the same video without conflict.
- Re-sharing a video you already saved won't create a duplicate — it's detected by the actual video, not the messy share link.
- Each saved recipe gets a one-time AI macro estimate (calories/protein/carbs/fat per serving), cached so it's consistent every time rather than changing on each view.
- "Add to Today's Log" on any saved recipe — one tap logs it to Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Snacks in your Nutrition diary.
- The Recipes tab now has Saved/Discover tabs; the broken Spoonacular-based search was pulled out for now.

Daily progress analyzer (new)
- A "Progress Check" on the Nutrition tab: an honest, data-driven read on whether today's eating and training actually supported your goal — not vague encouragement. It states plainly when a day worked against your goal and exactly why (over/under on calories, protein miss, skipped workout), with concrete adjustments for tomorrow.
- The verdict itself is computed deterministically from your real logged numbers and goal — the AI only explains it, it can't change it.
- Also fires as a push notification around 9pm local time if you haven't already checked in, so you don't have to remember to open the app.

Two smaller polish items also landed alongside this: fixed a bug where narrow text fields (like recipe ingredient quantities) were getting cut off, and a couple of share-extension reliability fixes so the TikTok/YouTube import flow works consistently.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-29

- Compare your lifts side by side — Personal Record Progress now lets you select multiple exercises at once and see their strength trends in a grid, with a tap to expand any graph full-size and a time range picker (1W/1M/3M/6M/1Y/All).
- Share your progress — a share button on your Nutrition summary and workout logs sends your macros or sets straight to Messages, WhatsApp, or wherever, no screenshotting required.
- Exercise pictures in your workout log — logged exercises now show a photo alongside each one, matching your program view.
- Add Exercise, always in reach — the "+ Add Exercise" button in your workout log stays pinned at the bottom while you scroll, and the app now jumps you straight to it (and to any exercise picker that opens lower on the screen) so you're never hunting for it.
- A cleaner profile calendar — friends' profiles now show a single, familiar month calendar for their workout history, whether it's a scheduled program day or one they logged on their own.
- New: Weight Trend — a rough, honest projection of where your weight is headed based on your actual logged calories versus your estimated maintenance, right on the Nutrition tab.
- Fixed the Macro Trends calorie mismatch, notifications for people you follow (capped at 5), and a handful of small polish fixes (search dropdown staying open, keyboard flicker while multi-selecting, and more).

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-27

- Google Sign-In — "Continue with Google" on both Sign In and Sign Up; links onto an existing password account by email if one exists, otherwise creates a fresh account.
- DM image attachments — send photos in direct messages (iMessage-style: thumbnail lives inside the input pill, remove before sending), synced over the WebSocket connection and conversation previews too.
- AI chat voice input — mic button records and transcribes via Whisper into the composer, so you can dictate instead of typing (never auto-sent, you still review/edit).
- Workout streaks — tracks consecutive days sticking to an active program's plan; falls back to counting logged-workout days when there's no active program, with wording that adjusts accordingly ("stuck to your plan" vs. "day streak"). Surfaced on Personal Record Progress and via a push notification once the day's plan is done.
- AI coach exercise resolution — the chat tool now searches and confirms the actual exercise before logging sets instead of guessing a name match, plus fixed a hallucinated "can't log twice" rule and added a real Pro gate + rate cap on chat.
- Public profile workout history as a month calendar — matches the existing Nutrition month view instead of a flat list.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-25

- Body Scan — AI-powered body composition analysis, right from your phone's camera
- Live Activity for cardio — see elapsed time, pace, distance, calories, and heart rate on your Lock Screen / Dynamic Island during a walk, run, or ride
- Redesigned profile & settings — quicker access from a header icon, with photo/username/city editing now on your profile
- Auto-detected location & worldwide city support — no more manual picking, and no longer US-only
- Revamped News tab — browse by category with a new filter sheet
- Nutrition calendar — see a full month of logged meals at a glance, with day detail in a modal
- AI coach can log workouts for you — right from the chat, matched against your active program
- New Storefront tab

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-20

• Direct messaging — send and receive messages with other users in real time
• Tap into any post to see the full comments and details
• Search for and follow other users
• Nutrition setup is faster and easier to complete
• Switch between metric and imperial units
• Filter exercises by body part
• Loading indicators while exercise images load
• Clearer error messages if a photo or video upload fails
• Notifications now stay accurate when switching between accounts
• Various bug fixes and performance improvements

A few notes:
- Apple explicitly discourages vague "bug fixes and improvements only" notes for a release this substantial — the bullets above are the safer, more transparent choice for review.
- If you want it shorter, the messaging + nutrition + search/follow bullets are the headline items; the rest can collapse into the last "bug fixes and performance improvements" line.
- Don't mention internal things like "WebSocket," "SecureStore," or rebrand/renaming details — those aren't user-relevant.

Want me to shorten it, or tailor tone (more casual/marketing vs. plain changelog)?
