The service claims to have two models: having the same point of origin and destination, or from point A to point B, which requires two drivers. In fact the app does not give one the ability to choose, so I just put in the worst case round trip time and it gave me the cost estimate for that entire time. I did not know when I would hear from the driver when I signed up, but I heard from her very shortly afterwards and we worked out the details by phone. The plan was for me to send her back to the point of origin via Uber using my account. That all worked fine, but she got there about 2.5 hours sooner than my total round trip worst case estimate of 7 hours. The service does not correct for what the actual duration was, so it would have been better to lowball it and then Venmo the driver the difference. It would be even better for the company to improve the app. Until then, it would be easy and desirable for the company to more clearly explain how it all works (or doesn’t yet work). They should also think about creating a third model for drivers to do exactly what I did (send the driver back via Uber/Lyft), which would be cheaper and logistically simpler than sending a second driver and another car the whole way to shadow us. It was a godsend to have 2 1/2 hours of time to work while she was driving. ### 2/5 — Unusable *2020-04-26, version 1.9.0* App presents error with Facebook login, and is unable to enter Amex and Visa cards scanned and entered properly during manual registration attempts, rendering it unusable. Two stars is being generous under these circumstances. At best, this is in the idea stage, and has not even been developed yet in full. Seems like a scam, otherwise it would not have such massive and obvious self-defeating bugs at the most critical point of registration. If you’re not ready to take payment info, you’re not ready to offer this produce. Waste. Of. Time. ### 1/5 — Don’t expect service! *2020-02-08, version 1.9.0* Great idea! To bad it’s not available when you need it. Requested a ride for post happy hour. Then requested service once needed and received notice that service only available for “corporate service”. Customer service not available on weekends either. Don’t rely on this service or you will be sorry. ### 1/5 — Scam *2019-12-14, version 1.9.0* Disaster, start to finish. Our “professional” driver begins the night by almost backing our car into his own personal car parked behind us (he couldn’t figure out reverse versus forward). 15 minutes later be let’s us out of the car and he goes to park. Naturally, we were a bit concerned given the experience earlier. As we watched in horror, he drivers right into a parked car. He takes responsibility for the accident and encourages all parties to not file a police report or insurance claim, saying he will address the matter. Big mistake. We’ve been dealing with him and the company for over a month. We continue to get the runaround and it’s pretty clear that won’t change. This company has no reason to exist. It’s a threat to our collective safety and just a bunch of bad actors. ### 1/5 — Two strikes, you’re out *2019-09-28, version 1.9.0* Tried booking on two separate occasions. On each attempt no driver was available. The first order I wasn’t notified until 30 minutes before the scheduled time that no drivers were available. The second time I wised up and called customer service a few hours before the scheduled arrival time only to learn that they couldn’t find a driver. Will be deleting the app today. ### 1/5 — Worst Ever — Will cancel last minute and leave you stranded *2019-09-22, version 1.9.0* We had a car booked for an event. They called only a couple hours prior to our event and left a message saying the driver canceled, and requested an immediate call back. Assuming there was a resolution, we called, and they just said they wanted to confirm we knew no one would be showing up. I read a few horror stories across the country on this company, and sure enough the reviews are all accurate. They didn’t offer to call us a car (would have been roughly the same cost) or anything. Awful customer service, awful company. Don’t use. ### 1/5 — Lack of information provided prior to requiring CC info *2019-03-21, version 1.9.0* This app/service looked amazing until I tried to ‘use’ it! All u can see/get is a very generic hourly rate without signing up. I had no issue signing up however I have a major issue giving my credit card number to a company i don’t even know if i will use... I did not allow me to see if the date i wanted was available or what the rate/cost would be for the service - just wanted my CC number. I cannot recall ever signing up for an app based service where the CC info was required as part or the sign up itself. I contact complaint thru chat and they think it’s just time this way. Maybe if we lived in a world where people’s CC a info wasn’t being compromised everyday that could be true. But we do not. However, ever since merging with JEEVS, nothing works! I spend thousands with this company each year and this merger is the worst thing they could’ve done! From getting kicked off the site while entering trips, to trips duplicating on the backend without my knowledge, no one was signing up when usually I have a driver assigned within an hour, to a sudden billing error apparently caused by the system defaulting to the wrong zip code, to now forcing me to download and use the Jeevz app which forces you to enter driver ratings before you can see your account regardless of how many times you’ve already rated said driver! We had a driver call to confirm but on my end it says no driver assigned. I tried to cancel the trip so I could update his start time but I can’t even cancel! Omg! I’ve tried the Dryver App, Jeevz App, and Dryver website but everything is broken and giving me errors! I am beyond frustrated at this point. Jeevz is going to lose a major client if they don’t get it together fast! ### 1/5 — Terrible service *2023-02-19, version 2.3.0* We have used this company several times and today they called us last minute to let us know they do not have anyone to accommodate our reservation. Their customer service was awful and they cancelled so late that we are unable to make other accommodations. Al I got was a message saying “a driver will meet me around that time”. Turns out I didn’t need the service anymore. I tried calling to cancel, and no reply. I tried chatting with an agent, no reply. I sent an email, no reply. I gave up and assumed the driver was already booked. I waited until 12, nothing happened. 12:30am, nothing. After more attempts to get ANY sort of reply, nothing happened. I never got picked up, got a cancellation message, nothing. Up to this day Im still waiting for that ride, or any sort of reply. It’s almost as if the company behind the app was non existent. I then scheduled a driver to meet at my house a 7pm. 7:00 came and nobody showed up. Nor did anyone call, email or text. The next day I received an email that the scheduled service had been canceled. The first driver on day two called me at 10pm!! To confirm that he will be my driver. Next day they called and said that the driver can’t make it. The second driver called on day 4 confirming the time and place. On the day of appointment the company left a voicemail saying the driver can’t make it and they can’t find a driver. Also with no number to call back and the number on the app was not working because it was Afterhours. This was a biggest waist of time ever. I had an important medical procedure that I needed a driver for. The clinic does not allow Uber, Lyft, taxis, etc. The driver needed to come into the clinic with me so the clinic could verify I had a driver as the procedure was sedated. Driver was caring, professional, relaxed, just what was needed in the situation. Went to a bar.. wasn’t feeling that location so we went to another spot. At the game, my other friend texted me and wanted to hang out after- so I asked the driver to pick up my friend while I was at he game. Came out, got right in the car.. didn’t have to pay for parking. Had the driver take us to a few more spots then dropped off my friends and went home safely. All of that was the same cost as an Uber there and back and we made like 15 stops. This is amazing. Driver was amazing. You reserve a driver, they come to your house, leave their car and then take you in your own car anywhere you want to go. I went out for my friends birthday and the driver picked each of us up, went to a happy hour, dinner very brief stop at a club… then safely home!!! I was called 15 minutes before my previously confirmed driver was supposed to show up that the driver had a “Family Emergency” and wasn’t going to show up. Seems to be a fairly frequent occurrence looking at all the other reviews. They had already charged my credit card, but offered no replacement, no apology, just said there is nothing they can do. Worst. Service.
