I had the same issue as everyone else. BT would not connect.  I have had the scale for 15 years and has always been reliable, the alarm is great!
Want y’all to know after messing around with trying to get it BT connected I think I accidentally figured it out.

1- open the app
2- turn the scale on
3- go into your alarm settings in the drop down menu. 
4-touch the BT icon 
5- follow prompts 

This is for IPhone- i can’t get the app to mess up again, it connects no problem now.
maybe i should delete it and try this again before posting. But I’ll let y’all try it and give some feedback.

I can’t change the app to kg and there is no information online to figure this out. Very annoying app for such an expensive piece of equipment.

Since the update has occurred the device no longer connects with Bluetooth. I’d say JB Industries needs to hire better software engineers to correct this issue. I’m sure we’re not the only two having problems connecting. Can’t even return to an earlier version, or that worked before.

Once updated it will no longer connect to my device. This thing quickly turned completely useless. A fix needs to be made immediately! I spent a lot of money on my scale fully expecting it to work all the time!

Hello just bought this scale.  Thought it was time as well to update my phone to Apple so I did.  Scale will not connect to app I have an I phone 11. I read other reviews that no one else can connect either so I have a total investment of $1,400 between phone and my new scale and unable to preform weighing refrigerant charges what can we do here?
