Works today doesn’t work tomorrow. See’s my amp then doesn’t. Unreliable and quite honestly useless. You may get streaming to work but cross your fingers. So don’t waste your time. It’s a feature they throw out there to add to the product allure but they don’t care about it. Never has it ever been update to work the bugs out.

Seltenst so eine schlechte App erlebt / Verbindung zum via iphone ( 14er) zum Verstärker quasi kaum möglich ….( dürfte Alonso bei Elac auf der Homepage so nicht als Benefit beworben werden )

Wenn sie sich verbindet ok.Leider tut sie das oft nicht, momentan überhaupt nicht. Auf diversen iPhones und iPads probiert. Lässt sich jeweils einmal starten, dann ist es nicht mehr möglich, in die Einstellungen zu gelangen.

Leider handelt es sich bei der AirPlay Implementierung nicht um eine offiziell lizenzierte Version sondern um das Open Source Projekt Shairplay. Leider nur in Version 1 da AirPlay 2 erst kürzlich geknackt wurde. Zudem scheint irgendwas mit dieser Implementierung nicht zu stimmen. In meinem Netz verschwindet der Elac sobald ein weiteres AirPlay gerät im selben Netz ist. Alle anderen AirPlay Geräte haben dieses Problem nicht. Hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden. Der Elac Support war leider auch nicht besonders hilfreich. Deren Aussage war in etwa: können das Problem nicht nachstellen, haben aber auch keine anderen AirPlay 2 Geräte…

It does its job. 
Still, there’s a lot of room for improvement, just to list some:
/ visual design is not up to date 
/ does not show the name of the connected WiFi
/ when starting the Auto Blend it cuts of the sub frequency.  If you exit without finishing, the bass cut off stays. 
/ no software reset to factory settings
/ display names are cut off if to long, there’s no guidance on how long is ok
/ Auto EQ is missing
/ Loudness is missing
/ You need to stop one stream to start another - other streaming devices have solved this issue
/ I could continue...
But: overall it does its job. I hope there will be new versions (firmware and app).
