Two stars because it works most days. Yeah it’s that pathetic. ### 2/5 — Too Basic for Modern Banking *2025-04-03, version 4.13.3* Limited functionality and frequent issues The app works for basic banking tasks but is very limited in terms of features and user experience. It often crashes at night and doesn’t allow money transfers outside of business hours. There are no notifications for incoming funds, withdrawals, or bills. Transaction details are minimal, and there’s no pre-transaction balance shown. For one of the largest banks in Bulgaria, the app is mediocre to terrible at times. Often the Utilites screen takes ages to load. I’ve had time when I made transfers and they were never executed. Credit card management functions and expense tracking is that of a bank in a 3rd world country. ### 3/5 — 50/50 *2024-12-10, version 4.13.3* Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. They have made a lot of improvements the last few years which is good. I used to hate it now its fine. It is often not available during night time and there are at least each 1-2 weeks error messages when starting the app… there is really a need for improvement! ### 3/5 — good first step *2024-07-29, version 4.13.2* DSK Smart is a good first step at a mobile banking app - you can see your funds, transactions and execute banking transfers. What it lacks is usability in the sense of making it easier for users to find features on the map and so things like authorization for banking transactions. Why would anyone still use sms as the only authentication option in 2024? ### 1/5 — Long-Term Review *2024-07-01, version 4.13.2* I’ve been using this app for years. The fact of the matter is they make it worse with every update. It’s full of spam for credits. Clumsy, slow, you name it. There was an issue where the app, without any notice, changes the payment system from “BISERA” to “BLINK” right after you press the transfer button, and of course you are being charged. Is is so smart that you can pay twice your credit card if you hit the transfer button a little too fast. Until now you should have pretty good point of view what the situation with this “smart” app is. But this is not the end! The UI is so fixed you are displayed with just 10ish characters. Unable to click on transactions to check for more details. In landscape mode maybe you can squeeze some more characters but there is no dynamic orientation. Often it struggles to pull the last 3 months of transaction. It can’t for the past year. You can’t rely on this app for getting accurate information. To top up, on the very first screen, after you open the app, there is the mother of the useless buttons in this app - “quick reference/check”. If you decide to deactivate that function the button will be still there, just showing a message sort of “to activate this button go somewhere in the app”. One of the other reasons why you might want to use that app is to check for ATMs but no worries that does not work as well.. it has an ATM map from the date of the establishment of the bank. The only people that might give more than 2 stars for this joke app are probably only the people developing the app, as even the front desk employees are suggesting to use the official banking website. It does not matter what the phone model/brand is just because the app is from the Soviet era. It takes minutes to load a preview and few minutes to execute an action! Please, resolve those performance issues and improve the speed of response to the customers’ needs/requests. While other banks updated their apps on the 1st l, we are still waiting for an update! От кол центъра казват “използвайте банката след 2 часа”. Нищо че половин час пътувах до магазина и очаквам банката да е банка. Всеки път като вляза в това излиза грешка, излиза грешка и спам. Всеки път. Тоталния минимум за работеща апликация. I tried filtering by last month or exact period but still showing the same thing. I updated to the latest version but the issue still persists. Constant crashes and outages plague the poor experience it offers. I’m genuinely amazed that a financial institution allows their users and services to be so poor and unreliable. I won’t even mention the bad flows, confusing UI and lack of functionality. Besides the app, which I think is not the most important thing about bank services, the staff is very friendly, they are fast workers. Fast in a way like, before I chose to sign a contract with Bullbank, which took 3 months (for my patience!!!). Gave up on that bank, went to DSK and within a week/week and a half, I had everything PLUS access to everything.
