Since about a week ago I am no longer able to add tasks or set the default download folder. After adding a task I get error 1902. It occasionally asks me to set the default download location. When I select something it says “oops please try again”. It has the required permissions, I am able to create new directories but unable to save them as the default.

This app refuses to connect to my server when the server is connected via VPN, making it completely worthless.

I don’t understand why the official app was removed for the UK. It’s still available elsewhere. Thank goodness for this app! I can download from my favourite sites again!!

I downloaded and paid em for the app. It’s been great and I’ve contacted Thomas a couple of times. He’s very responsive! He’s made some nice improvements over the years. 

I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs this app for your Syno NAS!

J’espère bientôt voir une fonctionnalité du genre MULTi serveurs ou l’ajout de l’état serveur ça éviterai d’avoir plusieurs applications

Used to be great, but now it doesn’t want to interact with anything I used to download (I.e YouTube etc).

Been using this for a long time now and it’s one of my most used apps. So convenient to just search for and trigger NAS downloads straight from my phone. The UI is quick and intuitive plus the developer is quick to respond to any queries and helpful. Highly recommended.

Every time you come out of the app and go in again you have to re authenticate which can take over 30 seconds and half the time it says oops, something went wrong so you have to start again. When it’s working it’s great. Tried contacting synology but they weren’t any help

What a great app. Provides a great way to use the Synology’s features on mobile. And support is impressive. When there was an issue, support responded quickly, over the weekend, and helped resolve it.

Nutze die App täglich und sie ist aus meinem Alltag nicht mehr wegzudenken.

Ein Problem was ich allerdings immer wieder habe ist das fortlaufende Archive mit der Endung .7z.01 nicht entpackt werden können weil diese wohl nicht als Archiv erkannt werden … leider ist diese Unart der Benennung mittlerweile sehr verbreitet. Vllt lässt sich da was machen?

### 1/5 — Users beware!!! free is a trial version with limited features.

This app is not free. It downloads on your phone with limited functionality while it prompts to pay as soon as it is downloaded. Without stating clearly that it will start with limited functionality unless you pay for the subscription or just buy the app.
This is morally wrong and should not be allowed to happen especially since this app is only a front end for the Synology NAS the user owns at their home.

You will see a developer response that say something like “we are sorry you had this experience but we have to make money” which is very sneaky way of avoiding the core issue of this review. “Don’t hide the fact that this is a paid app that runs as a trial version when downloaded as free one.

Search hasn’t worked for several months with no feedback after reporting the issue.

App disconnects very quickly compared to official DS apps which stay connected even when leaving the app briefly.

I have been using the app for a long time and very pleased until one day it kept giving an error when adding a task. I asked the support team and they immediately identified the issue was with the NAS and after sorting the app continued working as normal. Thanks
