Once App is updated it will no longer work with DSS EXPRESS V8.0.4 or earlier versions (which were very stable). It only works with v8.1 and v8.1.1. Both v8.1 versions of DSS EXPRESS is extremely buggy. Tons of bugs and playback issues. ANPR drops the video feed halfway during numberplate detection. Server playback is almost impossible to select exact time of playback. It jumps forward or back wards about 1 minute. It is really bad.

The app suffers from a horrible bug when trying to play back footage.
It constantly kicks playback back to 12am. Often even when selecting an exact recorded section (eg motion detect).
Scrubbing through footage is almost impossible, and finding suspects quickly and responding has been hampered many times by this bug. One then has to scroll from say 12am to 11pm on the timeline to find a clip.

It is very clunky to operate and find what you need quickly, which is exacerbated by this bug in particular

There are so many “clicks” required to get to a view of your cameras that it is a frustrating app to use.  The previous version required one tap to get to your camera network - now it has a whole lot more.  Not sure why it would regress…
