## What is DST?

The DST (Dementia Screening Test) is the only dementia test which is a medical device as per regulatory requirements. The DST very effectively detects early dementia risks, and can reliably distinguish between the different dementia risk levels. It is therefore suitable for dementia screening, as well as for risk severity monitoring / therapy control over time.

Additional functions include:
- a reminder to redo the test after 3-6 months, for medical monitoring 
- continued engagement for prevention, through regular Dementia News 
- tracking of the dementia risk over time, visualized in a graphic
- option to e-mail and/or print the test results (e.g., for documentation purposes)

Ich nutze den Test jetzt schon mehrere Jahre und komme damit gut zurecht (70 Jahre). Man erhält außerdem viele Informationen rund um Demenzthemen. Eine Erkenntnis ist, daß in Deutschland weder eine Grundlagenforschung noch nennenswerte Studien zu Demenz bzw. Alzheimer gibt. Gefühlt 99% des Wissens dazu kommt aus den USA.

Glitch in verbal fluency section: transposition of preceding items into list of animals, leads to 3 point penalty, thereby affecting true score. Please fix.
Love the variation in options for registration and recall,with each new test. Good CDT mods gets my approval.
Not robustly tested against other memory tests yet.
Fun to use( if you could afford it) , but results shouldn’t worry you too much.

Habe ihn schon mehrfach mit Familie und Freunden gemacht. Für die Elterngeneration ist es emotional einfacher den Test am Wohnzimmertisch zu machen als zum Arzt zu gehen, um sich einer unangenehmen Frage stellen zu müssen. 
Ich finde die App-Benachrichtigungen klasse. Sie lassen das Thema auch im Nachhinein noch wirken.
