## What is DTNA TechAssist?

TechAssist Mobile app allows Daimler Truck North America's (DTNA) Dealer Service Technicians to scan QR Codes within the Techlane web application to upload a) the failed part images using the in-app Camera and/or from the Photo Library, and b) Comments using either Speech to Text or by entering the text manually to a job line associated with a Repair Order.  The content uploaded using the TechAssist mobile app is displayed in the Techlane application.
The Techlane web app and TechAssist mobile app will require a valid DTNA Portal account for login and to upload images or comments to the DTNA systems.

a) Login – Password field - On focus, the keyboard layout for the first character in the Password field changes to upper case. This is fixed to keep the layout to lower case by default.





b) New Feature: Flash option is available for Photo uploads. The default is set to OFF. The change to the default setting is saved until user changes it again.





c) New Feature: The CASE toggle button is added. The default toggle is set to ON, which converts the voice recorded text to Upper Case. The change to default setting is saved until user changes it again.
