## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-14

Sideways recording fixed, Sport stabilization, HDR, heat protection and a 2× lens.

• Fixed: holding the phone sideways now records a proper landscape clip (full frame) with a portrait centre crop — in Independent Lenses too, where the small box turns vertical. Sideways, the controls move into a column on the right: lens numbers, zoom, record button
• Sport: a new stabilization mode and preset with the stock Camera's Action-mode class of stabilization — steadier, at a reduced field of view, below 4K
• HDR (10-bit): record both files in 10-bit HLG with the extra brightness range of the stock Camera — turn it on in Pro Settings ▸ Quality
• Heat protection: when the phone runs warm the screen dims while recording to keep it cool; when it runs hot, recording continues in HD/30 instead of stopping — a 4K clip is saved and carries on in a new HD file, and 4K comes back once the phone is cool
• New 2× lens button on 48 MP phones — a native-quality crop, like the system Camera
• Library clips are tagged HDR; stabilizing or applying a Look keeps HDR footage 10-bit
• Crash and hang reports can be shared from Pro Settings ▸ Capture ▸ Diagnostics

### 1.1 — 2026-10-13

Smoother recording, seamless lens switching, and a safety net for your clips.

• Fixed choppy footage and freezes while recording in 4K
• Switching lenses (0.5× / 1× / 3×) is now instant and seamless — no black frame, no gap in the recording — and zoom glides continuously from 0.5× to 3× and beyond
• Zoom is smoother: the rocker ramps the camera in hardware, and haptics are muted while recording so the phone doesn't shake the shot
• The zoom rocker and preview toggle now sit right beside the lens buttons
• Auto-Frame pans smoothly instead of jumping
• Audio starts on the first frame and stays in sync through lens changes; Stop no longer cuts off the last second
• Independent Lenses: zoom each camera separately (tap a preview to pick which one), and stabilization now applies to both files
• Never lose a clip: a phone call, another app taking the camera, switching apps, overheating or a full disk now ends the recording cleanly and saves it, with a note telling you why
• On-screen warnings when the phone is getting hot or storage is running low
• The cropped second file is saved at its true 1080p detail — same quality, smaller files, far less strain on the phone
• New: Background Blur (Soft / Strong) for single-camera recording
• Refined Aquarium look for blue reef-tank lighting
• Library: page dots no longer cover the video scrubber
