## What is DualBlur?

Shoot both sides of the story at the same time.
DualBlur records your front and back cameras simultaneously into a single video with you on one side, the world on the other with a live composite preview the whole time.

Built-in privacy:

This update is all about stronger face privacy.

• New Solid blur mode: an opaque cover with no recoverable data, the strongest face privacy option.
• Emoji face cover: hide a face behind an emoji glyph like a bear, cat, or smiley on the same opaque plate as Solid mode.
• Hardened pixelation: the mosaic now tracks each face and jitters every frame, so stacking many frames can't rebuild it.
• Tougher Gaussian blur: adds subtle dither so AI face-restoration tools can't assume a clean blur.
• Privacy ratings in Settings: every blur style now shows how safe it is, Medium or Strong, and why.
• Screen stays on: while DualBlur is open the display won't dim or lock, so auto-lock can't interrupt a shot.
• Recording saved on lock: if the screen locks mid-recording, the clip is finalised and saved to Photos instead of lost.
