It’s so annoying. Please spread your update releases so it’s not so often. ### 1/5 — Terrible app, terrible bank, avoid *2023-12-13, version 14.2.5* App has so many bugs. Every time I log in it thinks it’s a new device and I have to do the whole verification process. If you’re making the payment from another bank it’s a nightmare. I was also deliberately lied to about the fees, and raised that complaint with the bank, which they continue to ignore. Having to relogin again and again. ### 1/5 — Worst banking app ever. *2022-07-19* First off I’m one of those rare people that want to check the balance of my credit card transactions as I spend money. With FAB this is impossible. The app regularly shows an incorrect balance. I keep track of every amount I spend and when I notice it doesn’t match what is in the banking app I reconcile down to the fil only to find I haven’t missed any transactions and I can’t match the balance. I then call customer support only to find there are some hidden amounts that I will only see when the monthly statement is issued. This has happened multiple times. So in summary the one thing you expect a banking app to have is correct information - not the case with this app. ### 1/5 — New update is terrible *2022-06-04* You could pay your credit card bill through your debit card form another bank. I was then told that bank will waive the fees if I do a min spend of 5k the next month. Few months they charge my card annual fees just the same. Charged over 70 dirhams a month for insurances I did not sign up for (except it was buried in the application). Called and cancelled...”no record.” Request a refund after the second charge...”we’ll refund your money, if you spend 1,500 dirhams in the next month or take a cash advance with a 3% fee. Crazy. There’s no online alternative to using this broken app, as they’ve discontinued accessing your account on their website. It’s functionality is better than most and I love the features. So here are a few improvement areas: the biggest one for me was payment. I loved that I can use any debit card to pay my payment.. but when I used the debit card I have from outside the country it didn’t let me clear the payment transaction. I called my bank overseas and they said there is no problem. So it seems if you wanted to pay - and the currency is not dirhams- (example, rupees or dollar) (the transaction account was dollar) then it won’t process the transaction. That’s not really a convenient scenario because if I save money back home I’m not able to pay any of my balance off. How inconvenient if I left my job here and moved to another country. Giving customers options should not have limitations on payment. I’m willing to pay the exchange rate and a window could pop up to ask me if the end have rate was ok.. ### 5/5 — Love the cash back feature! *2020-06-20, version 4.1.0* Keeps getting better. I have multiple cards in several countries and always am searching for the best money apps. I got the DF card because it offered 5% back for online purchases, which are most of my purchases now during lockdown. App features were minimal a few months ago. Only used it to see my statement. I became a fan when the payment feature came out – just in time. With lock down, and few ATMs allowed for payment, I didn’t need to go out and pay by ATM. And payment is applied right away. I quit using other cards because of this. Now the app has gone good to great. New release lets me redeem my cash right away. I am a miser so I love seeing my cash earned daily versus only on a statement like other cards. Will use this card all the time at this % and features. How to go great to greater?
