Also, I immediately lose all my coins andI can’t do the post game stuff because when I try to do the post game races it only lets me select one and I can’t do anything else besides exit. All these glitches plus more glitches I didn’t talk about only show up after I beat the game. Aka beat the flame duck and see the credits. Pls fix because this game is really good ### 4/5 — Glitches *2026-07-23* Duck life is an amazing game that you should play! I have been stuck in ads or in a shop and unable to come out, but I’m fine with that! I am not fine with the fact that when I race on Gordan’s Gaunlet I fall through the track at the same spot while racing Gordo. It drains my energy and I can’t do anything. I can’t win and it resets my progress when I leave the race and I waste time racing the other gordans to get back to to point only to fall through the sand again. I don’t know if this is only me, but it is REALLY ANNOYING. I also don’t have to pay so that is amazeballs but the glitches take away from the game. If you played duck life 4 and 8, this game is like a combination of the two. The ducks in the game also mention the “Evolved Ones” from duck life 3 and say Marco took time off for family reasons because in duck life 8 Marco is the final boss and then you find out he’s your father. They also mention Doris from Duck life 8 too!The glitches are annoying but the graphics have the duck life feel to them while also being more advanced than the other games. I would love to see the option for ducks from other people’s flock to interact and have a chat so there are multiple Featherhaven flocks! Maybe a thing where you can befriend someone on the game and send them a friend request and if they accept, you could like send them stuff and talk to them and visit their flock! Amazing game honestly download it it’s completely free and really enjoyable. ### 4/5 — Completely Soft Locked *2026-07-04* The game is really fun to play, but a problem with my save file is that I can’t access the Cloud Kingdom Tournament, even after I got the golden gem. Not to mention the countless other bugs like Fred’s minigames or ducks being able to travel 1000s of miles during races. Still, it’s a good game. However . . . *2026-03-02* The game is pretty awesome as a whole. I got through it all. But it could be better; once you get your first 10 ducks, the bugs already kick in. And then the flying training? You need pro training for it to even work. The cart minigame is broken because you have to crash in order to restart. And sometimes that doesn’t even work, so a restart button at the top the screen would be more effective. Then the note “distressed ducks work slower” or something, is quite misleading, considering that it’s not general stats at all. Only the sleep stat makes the. Stop working. Key word: stop. They either work regularly, or stop. I don’t mind some of those cool quirks, but I hate that it’s misleading. As most would. But otherwise, the game is pretty cool. I will say however, that the duck voices could be a bit more characteristic, as opposed to 1 voice in the entire game and doing only 5 or 6 different sounds. But yeah, those are my compliments and complaints. Thanks for reading. (P.S. I don’t recommend adding that virtual pet-type minigame some other reviewer mentioned. The story is fairly simple, but the 3D details are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Probably one of the only downsides about this is that you need the buy the full game using real life money. But other than that, this game is awesome! ### 3/5 — Please fix *2025-09-24, version 1.3.2* Just has some bugs overall great game with a reasonable price. The bugs I’ve encountered include: not being able to build flower patches(on of the main components), glitchy menu when in the training area, not being able to get back up when going over a certain point when in the running training, and sometimes the menu option just disappears. Small things except the flower patch please fix this because it will not let me progress to upgrade buildings if I can’t grow them. ### 3/5 — Okay, I guess 3 is just about fair. However . . . *2025-08-13* You do kinda get a good glimpse at some fun things in the game that could make it quite something when it comes to training, puzzles, getting timing down to some other advanced things, finding strategies to do things quicker, it can be fun and worth the 5 bucks. Only if you can get past the tutorial. However, as expected, there are still quite a few flaws. The distressed ducks, turns out the only one that affects them is sleepiness, but it said that when ducks are distressed, they’ll work slower. And that sleep part, it basically stops them from working. And that’s very misleading. I honestly think that you could add the signs of distress from perhaps the rest of them. Maybe boredom being the exception if any, I guess? And then the flying training? Awfully broken. You need pro training from your ducks just to train them. That’s been apparently going on for a while. Then if you have more than 5 ducks, no matter what quality your device or computer is, it’s gonna lag and glitch a bit. Then the way the ducks move their eyes has me thinking they’re mesmerized by something. And there’s still a few more flaws. But otherwise, 3 stars (2.6) sounds right. I saw duck life 9 on the App Store and I thought back to school so I downloaded it. Now I can say that this was a bad decision. Duck life 9 is a money hungry game that wants to make a game but wants to create tons of profit off of it. For example every 5 minutes I would get a add, but I could avoid them, if I bought something using what the duck called “Human money” ### 1/5 — crashes all the time, always asking for money *2026-02-28* not that fun and not worth the money. ### 1/5 — This game won’t let me get through the tutorial *2025-11-30* As the title says, it is so hard I can’t even get through the tutorial. Let’s me say it was gonna be fun. But then it wasn’t so fun I don’t even know how to recruit a duck. Also, it keeps telling me to get to level three when I’m on level five also it’s telling me go to a race though I don’t know how to do that and it’s not showing me how. all it’s doing is just keep saying it just keeps saying when I go through. you know past the stairs, spoiler alert when I go to the little village I can’t recruit anybody. First of all, I can’t ever train running, as anytime I try and exit the training, it puts me on an endless loading screen. The only way to stop it is to reload the game, but none of my progress saves, nor the running experience I gained. On that note as well, the game has progress saving issues. Anytime I close the game to go do something else, none of my progress in the base saves. It revert me all the way back to what I did yesterday. This is really frustrating as I know I would enjoy the game. For most of the game you wont be followed by bugs but on bug i find especially frustrating, is that in the level 40-50 jumping minigame, the one with the moles. If you jump on a mole, you just lose, and when you do lose the training screen is completely bugged on that minigame alone.
