They had a great app and then this update,new app went back in time. It’s not user friendly and is honestly junk. **Developer response:** Thanks for the review. I have 5+ years of hunting memories on there and I can’t look at them. Bring it back! ### 2/5 — Poor updates *2024-09-12* I haven’t been able to write a report for months. It won’t let me click the button. It also has said my journal is “under construction” and won’t let me use it for months as well. ### 3/5 — Needs bug fixes *2024-01-21* I’ve been using the journal for 10 seasons and have logged over 150 birds. The past two days, I haven’t been able to log any more or view my past entries. I deleted the app to try and reset it and lost all of my entries. Also would be cool to do a lot more with the membership sides of things in app. Also you show a membership card. That’s about all I use it for. Wish swan would be added to species. ### 2/5 — Journal needs serious testing *2021-11-07* Having been in the software industry for 40yrs it’s obvious when a product has insufficient testing. I would love to call out the problems but the defects are just too numerous to list. If it worked as intended, it would be an awesome app, but as is, it’s too cumbersome to be even remotely helpful. I only gave it the second star because if the current functionality worked, it would be stellar. Test more!!!! ### 1/5 — Du short stops ducks *2021-09-07, version 3.6.3* Worst app ever. Who in their right mind would tell you where the ducks are. The duck commanders eat this thing up. Let’s no forget about du ruining duck hunting in the south. ### 3/5 — Needs a new update *2021-08-13* I’ve looked online to see the migration reports and they’re more thorough than on the app. What I’d like to see so that I can USE the app this season is: •synced reports •updated flyway migration reports for the year •reproduction rates estimation (looking slim or abundant) •what food plots are projected to look like I tried going in a couple times to the app also to look at reports and it either kicks me off and closes the app it doesn’t give me any reports at all. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on new iOS *2021-05-13, version 3.6.1* I just recently downloaded iOS 14.5, and now the app no longer works. Not to mention by deleting it lost all my old info which apparently isn’t attached to your account at all. Basically worthless now. **Developer response:** I believe your review is based on the deprecated Journal-only app. That app functionality was moved into the official DU app. All journal info is tied to your email login and saved on our servers. If you log in using the same email address, you will see all of your past seasons and logs.
