Duck is an event-first, map-based social app for students. See what’s happening around you today, join a group chat for the event, meet in real life, and that’s it—chats auto-delete 24 hours after the event starts. No follower counts. No clout chasing. Just people meeting up. 

How Duck works 
- Discover now: Browse a live map of student-run events starting within the next 24 hours. 
- Join instantly: Each event has a built-in group chat so you can coordinate details and say hello before you arrive. 
- Keep it light: Group chats automatically delete 24 hours after the event begins, keeping conversations fresh and low-pressure. 
- Campus-only access: Sign up requires an invite and a valid university email for added trust and safety. 
- Privacy by design: There’s no following or follower counts—Duck is about real-world meetups, not profiles. 

Getting started 
1. Get an invite from a current user. 
2. Sign up with your university email. 
3. Open the map, pick an event, join the chat, and meet up.
