The game has great potential and is really fun but lag causes you not to be able to use moves while the npcs or wild creatures hit you repeatedly until you inevitably lose and die. Apart from the stutter caused by lag when exploring and lag rigged combat, it’s pretty fun and I hope the lag issue gets fixed soon. ### 2/5 — cute but tedious *2025-08-20, version 1.1923* the artstyle is adorable and I love how it looks, but I don’t really like how little exp you get from each battle, requiring you to heal every single time you finish a battle, running back and forth all the time, which can get frustrating. Also, when I was on the tutorial catching an evo, I wanted to lower its health even further but the game wouldn’t let me, instead forcing me to catch even when I could have gone after another one. I ended up wasting numerous capture devices. I know I haven’t played this game for long, but the frustration I had from the beginning really turned me off playing further. ### 3/5 — Easily 5 stars but bugs *2025-02-14* This game could easily be a 5 star review but the bugs make this game almost unplayable. It crashes constantly and sometimes even in the middle of a battle. When you return your evos are all hurt or dead but the story didn’t advance so you have to fight the same NPC again. I, twice, put candies to evolve an evo and the game crashed both times. A level 2 destroys a level 4 Evo, I assume due to move types, but no way to know. Early encounters with Baxo are bad. It spams a healing move that heals more than my level 2-4 evos can damage it. Feels real bad for some of the first encounters for players. Catch rates are abysmal, I can only assume it gets worse as I’m still catching level 3s. I’m used to Pokémon games, and this opens like a Pokémon game, but after that everything is kinda just completely random and makes no sense. I can’t figure out how to heal my creatures. Game doesn’t explain it, just gives you temporary heal items and then says nothing else. Art isn’t that good. Immediately opens up with microtransactions for no reason. For a barely functional game I wouldn’t show all the bad parts of the game and then crudely ask for money, but that’s a choice I suppose. The opening area only has two creatures for a really long route of mostly nothing. It takes too long to level up after reaching around level 6. The jump to level up is exaggerated and should have gradually increased in each level. Removes the enjoyment of the game. Grindy game play with an awful catching system where on the lowest health you may catch nothing in the catch tutorial. Even spending money looks boring. 1/10 and I played to the third town. This is one of the best games you can find on Apple that is as nostalgic as Pokémon emerald or sapphire with the caveat of online and multiplayer experience. The game truly needs more attention from the gang creators and the band base. Honestly, I can see more paid options for costumes our special colored evos. As well as more skills upon leveling or more options of skills that way peoples evos can be unique to them. There’s a lot you could do with this game and it’s already fire if you need help reach out. I’m here for it. Relaxing and leveling up my evos while watching T.V. Challenging npcs, beating them, then challenging again (losing sometimes)as their evo improve; very satisfying. It's an added bonus to see other players training too and we can spectate each other, nice little feature. Side note: idk why people are rating this so low when they probably have not even tried. It’s better than most games out there tbh. So people that see my review, you should try the game instead of judging it. I know there may be a lot of bugs but really for what it’s worth, the devs are hard at work so you have to be patient and it’s not the end of the world. Anyhow to end this note here, if I could give this a 10 start I would!
