I have emailed Duet Display and they never got back to me about it (unless I somehow missed their email). Great idea, and when it worked once it was kinda cool in theory but I'd like to be able to command tab from ipad keyboard while having the duet app open but instead the command tab remains part of the IOS session not the OSX shared session. ### 3/5 — Almost there *2025-12-21, version 2.24.0* Works great most of the time for me, but for some reason on ipad 10.9 inch, sometimes when im using a bluetooth mouse I cant touch in some areas, keyboard wont fully work when i enter in my pc apps most of the time. Its weird. Other remote apps work just fine, but lack the convenience features like full screen that this has. ### 2/5 — Not exactly a Remote Desktop app. *2025-10-22, version 2.24.0* Only has mirror and extend functions. Unable to zoom in when connected via those functions so if you are planning to use your iPad or iPhone to remote you will have a significantly harder time. I think I will just stick to AweSun instead. ### 4/5 — Great but has bugs *2025-10-11, version 2.24.0* This is a great Sidecar alternative for PC <-> iOS. It gets four stars because it has bugs, like Windows kernel freeze after input starts tripping on iOS. No way to submit a bug report, only “high debug logs”. Who knows if they read them. Na prática, o app só funciona se o dispositivo e o computador estiverem na MESMA rede local. Se você estiver em hotspot, Wi-Fi diferente ou rede móvel (4G/5G), o app até encontra o computador, mas não conecta e exibe erro de ligação ao anfitrião remoto. Isso não é remote desktop de verdade. É apenas um monitor sem fio em LAN. Essa limitação não é deixada clara antes da assinatura, o que torna a descrição do serviço enganosa. Existem vários apps gratuitos que fazem acesso remoto real pela internet — o Duet Air não faz. This is superior to Apple’s own Sidecar feature. In addition, since M1 Macs for some reason still can’t have a basic feature such as using 2 external monitors, this app helped with making my iPad an additional screen. Over the years when I traded my iPad in for an android tablet, I could still use the android tablet as a second screen for my M1 mac. ### 5/5 — C'est Magique ! *2024-10-02* Je l'utilise comme 3ème écran de mon PC Windows sur mon iPad Pro de 2017. La définition est celle de l'iPAD. Une fois installé cela et l'appli sélectionnée, 3 secondes après mon iPad est transformé en 3ème écran. That doesn’t happen with this product and team. I rely on this app daily when I travel to avoid carrying my professional and personal devices with me. It is the best Remote Desktop app I’ve used, and have tried most all of them. I recently had an issue with app’s functionality when accessing from my iPad. I emailed support, received a response within the same day, and eventually by going through checks and suggestions the client service representative made was able to get things back to normal. All too rare to have good experiences like this. Kudos for a great product and great customer support. I use my iPad to view music scores with a number of apps but they are all useless in landscape, the image is way too small. But with Duet Air I can finally see my music scores in Portrait. This is in addition to the many features Duet Air offers. While a second monitor is a two edged sword when it comes to productivity, there are certain tasks that the extra screen makes much more efficient.
