## What is Duizenden?

Duizenden is een van de populairste kaartspellen. 

Je begint iedere ronde met 13 kaarten en maakt setjes van minimaal 3 kaarten. De setjes hebben dezelfde kleur (schoppen, klaveren, harten of ruiten) en zijn oplopend in waarde. Of ze hebben allemaal dezelfde waarde (2 t/m 10, boer, vrouw, heer of aas). De joker mag ingezet worden ter vervanging van elke waarde. De aas geldt zowel als 1 of als kaart na de heer.

Aan het begin van jouw beurt pak je 1 kaart af of de stapel weggegooide kaarten. De stapel mag je pakken als je minimaal 2 van de kaarten in je hand kunt aansluiten. Daarna maak je setjes en leg je één kaart op de stapel. 

Belangrijk in het spel is de schoppen vrouw. Deze telt voor 100 punten en mag je niet als laatste kaart weggooien. Je kunt deze alleen als setje op tafel leggen. 

Zodra je alle kaarten hebt uitgelegd worden de scores opgeteld: dat wat op tafel ligt minus die van de kaarten die je nog in je hand hebt. Zodra één van de spelers aan het einde van een ronde 1000 punten of meer heeft, heeft diegene het spel gewonnen. 

De puntentelling is als volgt:

1 t/m 9: 5 punten
10, boer, vrouw, heer: 10 punten
Aas: 20 punten
Joker: 25 punten
Schoppen vrouw: 100 punten
