Had to start a new game. Second playthrough, made it to second or third level, but Duke stopped caring about gravity and physics, glitched out, jumping causes him to progressively float higher and higher until you reach the vertical level cap, can’t shoot enemies. I stopped playing after that to write this review. Hope it helps you make a reasonable decision. ### 3/5 — Difficult implementation on iPhone *2025-10-29* Loved this game on PC. I figured it would be great to pick up and play on the go in bits at a time. The touch controls are quite hard to use with precision. Platform jumping and jump kicks are hard to pull off on the phone. I think when the app was first developed, iPhones had more empty space on the tops and bottoms of the screen, but now they fill the screen edge to edge. This gives you very little room to both hold the phone and touch your thumb to the buttons at the edge. The game is also missing the Look and Zoom feature of the original, making platforming even more challenging. The option to purchase items appears to be broken, but good riddance- that was a pathetic cash grab. The pros? It’s Duke Nukem after all. ### 3/5 — Игра отличная! Уважаемый разработчик скажите, это можно как-нибудь исправить? Alright port! *2023-03-25, version 1.0.13* This was my first Duke Nukem game, and its great, takes you back to the style of the first 2 duke games while having the personality of every one to follow, the port has a couple of bugs, dont load a save of you inside a room because it wont load, itll crash, and a couple of weird glitches here and there, but all things aside, a great full 8 hour game to have handheld with a nice story to accompany it. For users who are facing crashes don’t go for the free version it’s buggy and you can’t get past Chapter 1 Level 2 go for the paid version it’s working great on my iPad Air 2020 with A12 Bionic chip and 4 GB of ram with no crashes even during long hours of gameplay. ### 2/5 — Bugado *2021-11-05* Bom Dia. This game is only for £2 but part 2,3 and four should all be free. If your playing an old version or a new version,the best thing to do is use headphones/earphones and play a bit of it until your first ever save in the chapter or level then you’ll hear it from your phone/iPad.
