Few days later, they cancelled the pickup without any message or communication. I scanned about 40 books on to their app but they never contacted you to collect the books. After waiting three weeks I drove to a shop to drop off books. This is unreliable and a complete waste of time. Doorstep pick up is great and very convenient. *2024-08-13* This is a legit review. I'm a customer in Chennai and I was searching for the longest time for a proper place to sell my old novels. My main requirement was for doorstep pick up. I finally found the DUMP app and I tried them out. You have to scan or manually enter each books ISBN number and they automatically give you a price for that book. for further legitimacy, I contacted them and gave them my order ID and asked them what the next procedure was. they told me to pack it all into a box, they sent me a label and they booked a pick up date from the address given. the pick up was done and they received my box, they double checked all the books as they check for piracy as well. then they gave me a total amount based on number of books accepted or rejected due to piracy, if any. I received my payment within five business days. So overall, I would recommend this app to anybody looking for a doorstep pickup to sell their books. It was super convenient for me.
