It just immediately kicks me back to my Home Screen. I am so close from deleting for good, just because of this issue. As for the game itself, it seems ok. The art style is good, and the characters are nice (I unlocked all five without spending a dime). The combat is really bland though, and get stale fast. As for the story, the first few levels seem to have a very lose story, and then it seemingly disappears after that. (Maybe more story later in the game, but I cannot progress that far since I am locked out). ### 4/5 — I would give 5 stars. *2024-08-25, version 1.14* I spent 8 dollars for an assassin but every time it says would I like to redownload for free and then a server error or something occurs. Something with the update no longer allows the game to open me start. It just flashes like it’s loading and then jumps back to Home Screen. I don’t want to lose all the progress I have put in. The aesthetics, movement, audio, all great. This game falls way short for two very important reasons for this genre. First, a looting game where you collect currency should ALWAYS allow you to buy gear. Pretty much the number one reason for playing looting games is to spend all that shiny gold you just acquired. Not just open chests and get drops. And definitely not to spend real money on gems to use the shop to get gear. I can’t use my gold in the shop? Really? So you go in a dungeon, kill all the monsters, find some gold, go back to town, go to the merchant and they say “woah woah woah, gold? We only take gems here! You’re gold is no good.” …What? Second, gear appearance should be tied to your sprite. Paid skins are fine, but the second most important aspect to a looting game is being able to see your characters upgrades as you progress. ### 1/5 — Over charges! *2023-02-10, version 1.12* I bought the premium pass for $9.99 and it charged me $17.88. I bought a character pack for $1.99 and it charged me $4.00. This game steals your money when you make in-app purchases! ### 4/5 — Pause the game during commercials *2023-02-01, version 1.12* More than once between levels it has made me watch a commercial while an enemy on the next level pummels me to death with grenades. You have to hold your iPad sideways so it damages your charging cord and hurts your hands, and you can't hold it and control it. Then you fool around with it for a while when you have the time. You get to the point where you've advanced pretty far, then realize that it's been 8 months since the game has been updated and it's probably an abandoned game. The only real complaint here is that developer hasn't just come right out and told us he's abandoned the game. You literally have to pay in order to unlock other characters which are stronger than your starter.
