This game combines two of my favs; Dungeon Crawlers & Chess! I have been playing off and on all day and I have not dropped any $$$ bills on this game. I believe if a player truly understands the mechanics, theory and strategy, money is not required to play. There is a battle that traps me because I literally can’t do it. It just freezes up and forces me to try it again every time I login. Also, I can’t progress passed the second world because there is no eternal torch to light the cannon. FIX THE GAME!!!! ### 1/5 — The end *2024-08-31* Asian scum made an unplayable group of fighter heroes, hundreds of players developing this group of heroes suffer in the game and waste time and money. All chances for rewards in special summoning events and mini games do not work. Even the game 2048 is twisted to lose. if you do not donate. In general, this is a fraudulent scheme to take away money and the population. We will continue to improve. ### 1/5 — Really harsh on f2p and semi casual *2024-07-29* World boss is most of the time dead before I get the chance to even log in for the day. Auction house is controlled solely by whales, alot of itmes from there are actually crucial for progression + due to the time boundness of the auction: the timing of auction house does not suit alot of players, least does not suit me. Lasts for like 2 hours if i am not mistaken but you need to be online daily when it ends for you to even get a chance of bidding (which idk whats the point coz premium currency whale controlled mode)….. i was having fun but dang really got kicked in the nuts with these issues (just to name a couple). There have been many other games with the same exact mechanics. The battles are more chaotic than strategic and the way to win requires more money than placement and thought. The chat feature censors nearly everything including common words that shouldn’t be censored so you can’t even communicate with the other players, and just like all of these foreign, idle games, they work overtime at trying to squeeze more and more money out of you. It’s also unstable and crashes often. They also block you from progressing through the pve chapters with ridiculous level requirements that can take days to reach if you’re not spending thousands of diamonds to level up and buying the privilege packs. Seems like there’s not enough chapters developed and by the time you realize this you’ve already gotten reeled in so be warned… ### 1/5 — Fun game ruined by arbitrary limits *2024-06-19* Everything is locked behind story progression. Hit a wall at the end of chapter 2 (the second dungeon). Couldn’t progress (unless I wanted to pay them money I suppose) because I wasn’t strong enough to defeat the dungeon boss. AFK rewards and even chat were still locked, so no way to progress or get help. Dumb, dumb, dumb game design! **Developer response:** Dear player, you can upgrade your current hero level to improve your combat power and pass Chapter 2. You can also pass Chapter 2 without paying. ### 2/5 — No balance in the game *2024-09-13* Assassins are by far the strongest in the game, i started playing enchanters and now i am stuck fighting assassins who annihilate every other lineup even with considerably less power…. And switching is not even a thing in this game, i.e. i cannot switch from assassin lineup to enchanter unless i want to build them from scratch….. please add some balance to the game, unless you want non-assassin players to just stop playing! **Developer response:** Dear player, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your feedback. ### 2/5 — Many important features hiding behind pay wall *2024-09-08* While the game may appear F2P friendly at the beginning, as you progress through the game by the time you reach chapter 7 or so you’ll realize many important features are blocked by the pay wall. 1. VIP may only be gained by spending real money, so all the VIP dungeons are blocked except the first one. 2. Much of the idle gain features are blocked by VIP and worst yet, it’s subscription based with monthly pay. I will delete this game soon. I hope you can understand. ### 2/5 — This is NOT auto chess *2024-07-02* While decently produced (aside from mixed voiceovers - some good some bad) and having a unique idea about how to try to do auto chess (incorporating a story and exploration), the game fails in reproducing that type of gameplay. The battles are no different than any other auto battler - you pick your lineup and place them on a grid, then click go. There's no quick succession of battles with the buying of matching units to level them up in between battles. You do buy units between battles, but more in a gacha fashion, and you have all the time in the world to do it. And then you level them up with currency. There are classes and races with bonuses for having a certain number on the field, but you're limited by the number of units you can put on the field. You can raise that limit only very rarely, which then makes the idea of trying to match races/classes far less beneficial. It becomes more about getting the most powerful units (they even have the cliche R/SR/SSR ratings) than about the unit matching and balancing of resources in purchasing units vs raising unit limit that normal auto chess games are about. The ideas of auto chess are mostly there, they're just not implemented properly. So what you get is a mindless "adventure"/pseudo-rpg/auto battler that's just not that interesting. I feel strong with my roster of characters and i can accomplish everything. I don’t feel trapped behind a paywall or held back for not spending money. The game is fun to play and has Tons of content. You will spend hours upon hours a day on the game to complete your entire daily task list. You also can not do that and just build up your supplies to do more on a day you have time. Try it out.
