This saddens me and I hope it’s just a departure from Netflix and not the game itself. This game has so much potential but we need someone to give it the updates and content we need! The beauty of this game is its community. Many of our players have been around for a lot of years. Lots of them say it was such a huge part of their childhood. I find myself having to grind lower level dungeons dozens of times to catch up. Then the developers stop updating the game. I suppose the trade-off for no IAPs is a real lack of incentive to do any updating. After playing a couple weeks, 3-starred all dungeons available, but there’s no hard mode. Of course, Netflix’s update descriptions on the app page are beyond useless, so there’s no indication if new content has ever, thus will ever, be added. Foolish to not communicate to players. If you don’t love PvP (as I don’t), there’s nothing to do fairly quickly. I invested countless hours — and a significant amount of money — into building my account, developing my heroes, collecting skins, and supporting this game over the years. Like many loyal players, I did so under the assumption that my progress and purchases would retain lasting value within the game’s ecosystem. To see all of that wiped away with the original server shutdown, and replaced by a fresh start with no option to carry over my purchases, feels like a profound breach of the trust and loyalty I had placed in your team. The small loyalty code offered simply does not reflect or compensate for years of commitment, enjoyment, and financial support. I understand the technical and business reasons behind the move to Netflix’s platform. However, as a paying player who helped support this game from its early days, it’s incredibly disheartening to know my investment was ultimately so temporary — and now simply gone. I hope your team recognizes the impact this has on long-time fans. At minimum, I’d like you to acknowledge this concern, and perhaps consider more substantial loyalty programs, restoration packages, or goodwill gestures for veteran players who built the community that made Dungeon Boss successful enough to continue under the Netflix banner. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out.
