About This Game: Dungeon Munchies is a side-scrolling action RPG with a focus on hunting down creatures, cooking them, and eating dishes to gain certain abilities. The combination of dishes you choose to eat will impact your entire play style. Big Menu for a Big Stomach: With a stomach that can only take seven dishes, you must put together a meal that maximises your abilities. Guava juice, grilled shrimp, or crab stirfry may mean the difference between health recovery, damage output or a watery shield. Tools of the Trade: Craft all kinds of deadly weapons out of the animal and plant parts you can't eat. Pair them with your favorite dishes to create the most overpowered combat combo. You guys!?! Seriously you are the best and I love every single person who had a hand in making this game. The Artwork, phenomenal, Animation, phenomenal, Music, beautiful and sets the vibe in exactly the right way that really makes you “feel” the story in a really incredible way and made me absolutely fall in love with the story and characters instantly. Instantly I was in love with this game. Everything is so lighthearted and fun and just makes me smile or laugh constantly. It’s so good. You made a masterpiece, and I really just wanted to say that, and that you guys nailed it. So hard. I am a huge fan of you now and I can’t wait to see everything you make in the future. The biggest problem I had is the controls, I haven’t tried a controller yet but you should definitely make that happen. Some buttons need to be pressed at the same time and the touchscreen buttons make it really hard or impossible. I also wish there were more settings. Either way this is 5 stars all the way. The interact button gets in the way of movement because of its size, it’s really hard to use Ranged weapons without running face first into an enemy, it’s hard to read HP, when you go into settings there’s a return to desktop button, and the settings menu is pointlessly small. The food abilities and combinations make for a huge number of builds, my favorite being the scythe/summoner build. I’m not gonna spoil anything because I recommend you go in blind, but this game may give you an existential crisis, and this game is not for the squeamish. Also, This game contains HEAVY BODY HORROR. 10/10 Took me 9 hours, 45 minutes, and 3 seconds to beat this game.
