The monster catching, fusing, then deciding to use the final monster as an ally or a tattoo (accessory for the main character) is very enjoyable. The weapon forging and merging is also pretty good. The translation does make the fusing of monsters a bit confusing at first but the game does warn you about the translation right out of the gate so fair play. Once everything clicks you realize that the systems here are actually pretty in-depth. My only gripe is that the skills are not translated at all, I can best guess based on icons and numbers but I'm not sure if there's secondary effects in the text or just flavour text. I spent longer than I'd like to admit building a team and even making a farming set of gear. There is a cash shop but the items offered are so easy to come by I actually wish there was something else there to grab for a couple bucks.
