Only improvement I’d make is more races, there’s no fantasy humans, Tieflings, or Dragonborn generators. I’d also add language generators, it’s tough coming up with fantasy words on the spot. I mean to purchase the Fantasy Settings for 6.99 and accidentally purchased all generators for 9.99. I only need the fantasy settings. Is there a way to reverse this? ### 4/5 — Great but not entirely for me *2018-04-04* I love the concept and the randomized rolls for everything but when I’m playing dnd and I need to roll for stats I have to have it roll all the dice 4 times for each stat instead of just the 6 sided die. And there isn’t a generator for 5e or pathfinder dnd characters. I use it all the time. ### 4/5 — For out-of-ideas DMs *2017-05-12, version 5.9.2* This app tries to solve the "writers' block" for dungeon masters and other RPG narrators, by randomly generating combinations of common concepts. For example you ask for a quest and it will give you stuff like "Assassinate X" , "in public", "in a month" and what this X guy looks like. It can generate that spark you need to then go on and elaborate your real story. I actually think it would work great for improv troupes and other comedy settings, since results can border on the improbable (a transgender fantasy king, really?). Unless you only need contemporary settings, be prepared to pay a few dollars for the various item packs. There are four main topics (fantasy, sci-fi, superhero, western), each split in sub packs (quests, missions, character classes etc). It's also entirely textual, which leaves you with a feeling of using a glorified randomiser of database items - in the end that's pretty much all it is: a cliche' mixer. ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2017-04-17* I love this app! Its really helped me create my own characters and settings. I held onto the app hoping it would be accessible. But I think I’m gonna have to delete it because I can’t use it. Why people can't make a decent d&d app pisses me off more and more every day. I'll click through until I find a name that fits, then click through till I get features that fit. Helpful, but the characters created are to random at times to the point of conflicting with other generated info. Great to inspire, but worth about half of what is charged. ### 3/5 — Interesting RPG generator *2017-01-25, version 5.9.2* It can create a quick scene with some stats that may have to be modded. Much easier to randomize my game than using tables. I do wish i could delete some of the already existing randomizers, as i am only interested in using my own lists. Is there a way to do so? While it will lack specific numerical stats for characters, the core concept is there. Great for when your party decides to detour off the path and you need to quickly generate a building or scenario as well.
