But it has been such a pain not being able to load funds into the app to pay by scanning and earning points seamlessly. I really hope they get this fixed. ### 2/5 — Preorder is terrible *2025-09-23, version 2.7* App is OK. The hardest part is checking out. Why in 2025 do we need to put in our zip code before moving in to the payment? Why can’t we simply use Apple Pay to checkout? The checkout process is more difficult than it needs to be. I keep checking back, payments are still the same, so I cancel my online order. When attempting to pay, I am not given the option to even use Apple Pay, and I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement from years ago for customer convenience. However, this app leaves much to be desired. So many times the baristas can’t get my payment from it. It is a quirky app. When you try to reload your card because you know it’s low, it annoyingly pops up a message that your balance is low. Well duh! That’s why I’m trying to reload—completely unnecessary pop-up message. When you enter your credit card # to reload, it doesn’t offer the numeric key pad, you have to use the little numbers in the top row of the keyboard. ### 1/5 — Cant load gift cards into app *2025-01-26* There’s a variety of things going on with this app not functioning well. The more recent issue I found is that when you purchase a physical gift card from the store, you cannot enter it into the app online. It appears that app-related gift cards can only be those purchased through the online app rather than giving you the flexibility to load or add a gift card purchase purchased from the store into the app also. ### 1/5 — Can’t link credit card *2024-07-11* This app is useless without the ability to link a credit card to it, and once the balance has been depleted on the card, the credit card reloads the balance. To purchase a gift card and then load it into this app is redundant. Starbucks does a much better job with their app. Hands down. Also when ordering on the Dunn brothers app the first available time to pick up your pre-ordered coffee is approximately 30 minutes from the time of order. This doesn’t make sense when I can drive to town and drive up directly to the drive-through and order without delay on that same day. However, I would prefer to have the ability to order my coffee ahead before I leave my house in the morning to head to work to ensure I can get it quickly when I arrive. Please make these fixes because there’s many days I will opt for going to Starbucks because I can use their app which functions significantly better. ### 1/5 — Can’t sign in *2023-11-01, version 2.5* The password reset button does not work. Plus doing my correct email and password but it keeps going to the same page going and says already in use. It won’t get me past this screen button. I can’t even use it at the store when I want it to. ### 1/5 — Literally impossible to use *2023-03-17, version 2.4* Won’t let me get beyond the first screen because my phone number is already taken…by me…from when I entered it in a previous version of the app. Guess I’m getting Starbucks. ### 1/5 — Unusable app *2023-02-20, version 2.4* I can’t get past the first screen. It asks to verify my number and then says it’s already taken. There are no buttons or options to exit from the screen. The app used to work fine prior to the update. ### 1/5 — Can’t even get into the app *2023-02-14* Downloaded the app after getting a promotional email and I know I have an account with them, but when I try to sign in, it tells me my passwords wrong. So I try to change my password and I don’t receive the email with instructions to change. So I try creating a new one, but then when it asks for my phone number, tells me that this number is already in their system, and won’t let me continue. So frustrating to use or even get into.
