## What is Duodecimo?

A whole library, ready when you are.

Duodecimo brings 500+ classic works to your iPhone and iPad, with luminous painted covers and a reader made for settling into a good book. Browse novels, plays, poetry, philosophy, history, and more. Open a familiar favorite or discover something new.

Find your next read
Browse a cover grid or a compact list. Search by title or author, save favorites, and organize your library by category, period, or author. Filters for category, period, collection, and reading status help you narrow the shelves.

Read your way
Choose Book, Scroll, or Study. Turn pages with a curl, settle into a continuous scroll, or keep notes beside the text when there’s room. Adjust text size and alignment, tap the page to hide the controls, and pick up where you left off. On wider landscape screens, Book opens into a two-page spread.

Keep the thoughts a book inspires
Select a passage in Book or Study and add a note with the quotation attached. Return to that place from your note. In Study, wider screens give the book and your notes space side by side.

Take the library with you
Every book and cover is included with the app. Browse and read without a connection, an account, a subscription, or advertising. Your notes, favorites, preferences, and reading progress stay on your device; they do not sync between devices.

The collection uses historical editions in the public domain in the United States. Source and license details are available in the app.
