It’s strategic and also adds social deduction and the ability to work for or against players and the payout system is really cool with you splitting the prize amongst players. However the game needs to be wayyyyy easier to process and understand. The tutorial is lacking hard, if it doesn’t glitch out it doesn’t explain things clearly so that is automatically a huge turn off to players. I didn’t even know I could buy units on other peoples turns. The game also seems to suffer from bots tho idk if that’s because I’m still new. They say the exact same thing and try to trade the same way every game. I also don’t see the point in the central 5th alien players as that person is almost guaranteed to lose every single game. It has the bones of a good game but it definitely needs tweaked and worked out to make sense and actually bring any players in.
