## What is Duplicate Cleaner?

Your iPhone storage isn't full of apps. It's full of duplicate photos and videos: the same shot, saved four times.

The burst you fired at the school play. The 4K clip you sent over WhatsApp that came back compressed and got saved again next to the original. The screenshot you took twice because you weren't sure the first one worked.

Duplicate Cleaner finds them, tells you exactly how many gigabytes they're costing you, and removes only the redundant copies.

SEE THE NUMBER BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Run the scan and see your real total first. The scan is not locked. You are not asked to pay to find out whether there is anything worth cleaning.

IT KEEPS THE ORIGINAL
This is the part most cleaners get wrong. When Duplicate Cleaner finds two copies of the same shot, it keeps the best one - ranked by resolution, then file size, then duration, then capture date. The 4K original stays. The messaging-app copy goes. Favorites are never proposed for deletion, ever.

IT FINDS WHAT EXACT MATCHING MISSES
Fifteen near-identical frames from one moment. A video re-encoded at a lower bitrate. A photo re-saved through a messaging app at a different size. Duplicate Cleaner compares image and video content using a perceptual fingerprint - for video, three frames sampled across the clip, all of which must match - not filenames and not file sizes.

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS, IN SEPARATE ROWS
Duplicate Photos. Similar Shots. Duplicate Videos. Similar Videos. Screenshots. Large Videos. Every asset appears in exactly one row, so the headline total is what you would actually free - never the same file counted twice.

EVERY NUMBER IS MEASURED
Sizes are read directly from each asset on your device. Nothing is estimated, extrapolated or padded.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
All comparison happens on device. No account. No sign-in. No upload. Nothing is deleted without the system's own confirmation prompt, and anything removed goes to Recently Deleted, where you have 30 days to change your mind.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
It doesn't merge your contacts. It doesn't block ads. It doesn't scan for viruses. It finds duplicate photos and videos and frees up the space they're wasting.
