If i know the app is so bad i won’t NOT  buy the converter and the battery 
Very inaccurate and annoying app 
They need serious attention and update the software 
Become a bad name on internet about it

This update is exactly what was needed for a better ux experience. More often trying to convince ppl to get the Duracell system and showing them the app puts them off, especially when compared to Teslas for example , so this is good and a small step in the right direction. We want more of this UX enhancements for a much better user experience and visuals.. 

Although  I pretty certain the data is not accurate on the app

Probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever used.  Firstly it presents you with a login screen with the username and password already filled in.  Why have this? It’s not for security, it just means an extra click anytime you want to use the app.  The data refreshing every 5 minutes or so is hopeless. But the worst offender is the EV page.  I’ve just spent 10 minutes trying to get my car to charge of the excess solar and I still can’t get it to work.  I’m a professional software developer: if can’t get this to work reliably, no one has a chance.  This should be the no 1 easiest thing to do in the app.  Terrible.  Given a second chance, I’d avoid the whole Duracell Energy system.

This app does not display current data (no pun intended). For instance logging in today at 10am, it displays data from 8am. The Dura-I app on the other hand is bang up to date, why the 2 hour disparity? Systems/apps such as this are only truly useful if they present meaningful data in real time. Add in the perverse situation where it seems to forget my tariff and not charge from the grid and it doesn’t really make for a good user experience. Hopefully these issues are sorted soon in a future update.

The most frequent use of the app is to check how much charge is in the battery the text size is far too small to be able to read it. The old puredrive app was much more readable. this is not progress please update the app so that customers without 20 20 vision can read the numbers

What on earth gives you the right to interfere with the Charging schedule of MY batteries. Once again, last night, they did not charge due to your app interfering and switching off the charger, thus costing me money. I even tried to switch to power-cut mode but to no avail. Your app should be for information only, not control!

I’ve been using the Duracell battery app and associated dura inverter app for over a year. 
It’s plagued with problems like ‘battery offline’ messages or dis/charge being set on the battery app only to find it’s not actually been actioned the next day, leading to having to use more expensive energy as I’m on a time of use tariff. 

Plus why does the app have you log in every single time? Can you not set it to stay logged in for say 48 hours / 7days etc?

I’m really disappointed that a global brand like Duracell or their UK service provider will don’t have these issues sorted as yet over a year on. 

The battery and inverter themselves appear to work just fine but the apps really let it down and make the process hard work when it should be slick. 
As a result, I’d actively recommend people do not take Duracell.

The app scheduling for battery charge and discharge has become unreliable.  It’s like having a great car with intermittent steering failure. 
Every time it fails I lose money.  Support is also very poor.
