## What is Durak?

Durak — the Russian card game, played offline against bots and online against a live opponent. No ads, no sign-up, no «watch a video for a hint».

AN HONEST BOT IS HOW THE GAME IS BUILT, NOT A PROMISE
The computer does not peek at your cards. Other players' hands are unreachable to it: the bot receives exactly what a live player sees at the table — its own cards, the table and the discard pile, and nothing else. The deal number is shown on the result screen, and every opponent's hand is revealed when the game ends. Any game can be replayed move for move and checked yourself.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Throw-in (podkidnoy) and transfer (perevodnoy) Durak, two to four players at the table.
• Four levels of opponents — from Novice to Master, who actually calculates the game instead of playing at random.
• Online duel on two phones: the server finds you a match by rating in seconds. Elo rating, «epaulettes» points, leaderboard.
• Eight opponents with a temper: Mikhalych, Sanyok, the Professor, the Kid — and the critters: Barsik, the Owl, the Beaver and the Fox. They sulk when they lose, gloat when they win, and tell jokes.
• A story mode, «One of the Yard»: six chapters from the garage to the kitchen, ranks, rewards and easter eggs.
• Isometric table, living avatars, every move animated, cutscenes for a win, a loss and «epaulettes».
• Music and sound for each table: garage, kitchen, the bonnet of an old Beemer.
• Achievements, statistics by level, winning streaks.
• A hint for your move and an undo, in case your finger slipped.

WHAT'S NOT INSIDE
• Ads. None at all.
• Sign-up — you type a name once and the account creates itself.
• A required internet connection: offline games always work; the network is only needed for online play and the rating.
• Bets or purchases for real money.

THE RULES ARE THE ONES PLAYED IN THE YARD
36 cards, the loser defends first, no more than six cards on the table, and a transfer only while nothing has been beaten. The tricky cases are settled the way they are settled in the yard, and all of it is written out inside on the Rules screen.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-11

Full Collection: one purchase unlocks every card back, table and felt forever, seasonal ones included, plus two exclusive card backs, Gold Atlas and Night Yard, and the Patron frame. Streak frames, cups and achievements stay earned by play, and there are still no ads. Also: the table track in online games, the welcome-back gift is shown in the menu, small fixes.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-10

Deal of the day is now a calendar: a win is a crown, 10 crowns a month is a cup. Day streak: play every day and points grow up to ×2, and your avatar earns a frame. Collection: 10 card backs (atlas, Khokhloma, Gzhel, neon, cosmos…), new tables, felt and frames unlocked by rank, achievements and the season. Season "Autumn in the Yard": an autumn table, card back and rewards for wins. New rank goes full screen, achievements get icons, the trump is revealed with a sting, plus a menu theme and jingles. Reminders about the daily deal and your streak (switch them on in settings). Characters react to your opponent's phrases.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-09

Rating that makes sense. Everyone used to sit at «1000» with no way to tell where it came from. Now it is plain: rating only moves on wins over live opponents online, and the leaderboard lists only players who have actually finished a game. Until you play one, it says so instead of showing an empty thousand.

Ranks for points. Every game gives points, bots included: a win is 10 plus the cards left in the loser's hand, a streak of three or more multiplies it, and a strong bot pays more than an easy one. The total moves you up the ladder: Six, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, Trump Ace. Shown in the menu, in your stats and on the result screen.

How many people are around is now right in the main menu: how many are searching for an opponent and how many games are in progress.

The rules gained a «Rating, points and rank» section — short and honest.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-07

Online is alive: see how many people are searching right now; table by code and an invite link — bring a friend from any phone; rematch with the same opponent in one tap; quick phrases at the table; "Wait in background" — we notify you when an opponent is found. Leaving the table no longer counts as a loss without asking.

Honesty in numbers: the result card shows how many trumps each seat drew from the deck. Atlas deck as a second card face. House rules: first bout 5, neighbours only, transfer by showing a trump. Table speed. Deal of the day — the same for everyone. First-game tutorial. English interface.
