## What is Dürer?

Dürer turns your phone into a tracing tool. Prop it over your paper, pick a
reference image, and draw what you see through the screen.

HOW IT WORKS
Rest your paper on a flat surface. Prop your phone above it. A phone stand
works, and so does a stack of books or a glass. Choose an image, fade it to the
strength you like, lock it, and trace. You are drawing on real paper, looking
through the screen at your reference. Nothing is projected onto the page.

A LOCK THAT ACTUALLY LOCKS
Rest your hand or your stylus on the screen while you draw and nothing shifts.
Locking freezes the image completely until you deliberately unlock it.

TRACE YOUR OWN PHOTOS
Import any photo from your library and turn it into clean line art on your
device, in a tap. No credits and no tokens: every photo is included.

ALSO INCLUDED
- A starter set of traceable images, searchable and sorted by category
- Adjustable opacity, pinch to zoom, rotate and reposition
- Flashlight and exposure controls for drawing in low light
- Grid overlay for proportion and placement

TRY IT BEFORE YOU PAY
Ten minutes of real tracing, free, with your own photos and the whole starter
library. The clock only runs while you are actually tracing, so putting the
phone down costs you nothing.

ONE PRICE, ONCE
After that, Dürer is unlocked with a single one-time purchase. It is not a
subscription: it does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. No ads, no
session limit, no watermark and no account. Your photos never leave your phone.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-04

Try it before you pay.

Ten minutes of real tracing, free: your own photos, the whole starter library, the lock, the grid and the line-art conversion. The clock only runs while you are actually tracing, so putting the phone down, taking a call or sleeping on it costs you nothing.

After that, one payment unlocks Dürer for good. It is not a subscription, it does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel. You can unlock at any time from Settings.

Also fixed: a glitch in the hold-to-unlock control when releasing it.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-02
