This app is very important for citizens to submit service requests and complaints to help improve our City. I understand it takes time and money to update and fix, but Durham is really dropping the ball on this one. Without the app, submitting service requests via the OneCall website or via phone is more cumbersome and doesn’t allow citizens to upload photos. This needs to be fixed! ## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works on my phone *2024-03-29, version 4.3.3* I don't know if they've updated the app since the last people reviewed it or what, but it seems to be launching and working just fine on my iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 17.4.1. I'd recommend that people considering the app try downloading it and running it to see if it works on their phones rather than just taking the App Store reviews as being applicable to their situation. ### 5/5 — Fantastic app *2022-10-12, version 4.3.3* Makes it so easy to snap a photo and upload trash and debris pickup which is a big problem in our neighborhood. I’m recommending to some friends in the neighborhood who make one call requests! ### 4/5 — Works Well *2022-05-05, version 4.2.1* I have not used this app in over a year. It locked up several times. Deleting it and reinstalling fixed the problem. ### 2/5 — It worked. But not satisfactory. *2021-10-03, version 4.2.1* I reported two requests. One was just reporting a traffic sign that needed replacing. No problem. App worked as designed. I also made an “other” request. The customer service rep responded by message saying it wasn’t the City of Durham’s responsibility, and immediately closed the case. I then tried to comment back asking for resources. But I believe that since the case was marked as closed, my issue was not seen again. So I am either being ignored by the app, or a customer service rep has seen my comment and chosen to ignore me for the last 3 weeks. Either way, the app provides no way for follow-up on a connected case.
