## What is DUST?

Earth, the Moon and Mars — on one live map.

DUST (Domain Unified Space Tracking) is a living 3D map of everything we have sent into space, and the public slice of DEEPSIGHT, Defensive Bias's space domain awareness platform. It's not an animation: 16,000+ tracked objects — satellites, rocket bodies, debris — move on real orbital physics, computed on your phone from the public catalog.

THE LIVING GLOBE
• 16,000+ tracked objects on real physics, from the Space Station to Vanguard 1, aloft since 1958 — or a curated Highlights view of 260 notable objects with plain-language stories
• Zoom in and points become recognizable 3D models
• Three Earth styles — the DEEPSIGHT globe (the platform's own charcoal-and-mesh chart, with a sunlit horizon), satellite photo, and night lights, the photo styles carrying a real sun-driven day/night line

THE MOON AND MARS, MOVING
• Real orbiter tracks from NASA/JPL Horizons ephemerides: LRO, Danuri, Chandrayaan-2 and the ARTEMIS pair around the Moon; Odyssey, MRO, ExoMars TGO, Mars Express and Hope around Mars
• 30 landing and crash sites — including all six Apollo sites at their true coordinates — plus future landing zones, with landers and rovers where they actually stand

YOUR SKY, NAMED
• Point your phone up: the satellites actually overhead at your location, placed at their true angles
• Named stars, naked-eye planets and constellation figures share the same sky
• Pass predictions computed to the second — know when the Space Station crosses your sky and exactly where to look
• Aurora alerts, free: a heads-up when a geomagnetic storm may become visible from your latitude

LAUNCHES & SPACE WEATHER
• The live launch schedule, with a Lock Screen countdown and a Dynamic Island Live Activity
• Current space weather from NOAA, in plain language

PRO — ONE PURCHASE, YOURS FOREVER
• Asteroid Watch — NASA/JPL's live impact-risk board, close approaches and fireballs
• Close Calls — screen any satellite against the full catalog for its nearest encounters
• Breakup Lab — simulate an orbital collision with NASA's Standard Breakup Model

DUST+ — THE LIVE SERVICES
• Live AI Mission Control — ask in plain language and the copilot answers and flies the app for you
• Smart alerts: the Space Station over you before it flies, launch countdowns, asteroid close approaches
• "This Week Overhead You" — a weekly digest of the best passes over your location
• 7-day free trial, then monthly or yearly; cancel anytime in Settings

HONEST BY DESIGN
• Core features work offline — the globe, your sky, passes, missions and the collision lab all run from on-device data; live feeds resume when you reconnect
• Every number tells you where it came from — live, cached or simulated, always labeled
• Your location never leaves the device; passes are computed on the phone
• No account required

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-29

DeepSpace is now DUST — Domain Unified Space Tracking. Same app, same purchases, a new name and a new look built on DEEPSIGHT.

• The DEEPSIGHT globe: the same charcoal-and-mesh Earth our space domain awareness platform uses, with a sunlit horizon glow — and the Moon and Mars to match
• A sharper, tactical interface: live header, quick-access rail, and a stats panel that switches Highlights, All and Space Oddities in one tap
• Calmer satellite colors, so what matters stands out
• Mission Control AI front and centre in the new footer — on iPhone and iPad
• Ask Mission Control by voice: tap the mic, speak, and hear the answer. Your voice is turned into text on your device and never sent anywhere
• Mission Control now asks before your first question goes to the live AI — change it anytime in Settings
• Refined cards, buttons and screens throughout

### 1.0 — 2026-10-28
